Description

Hey guys ! As my computing needs changed over time, my 6950X became way too overkill (I stopping doing 3D work). My workstation was also way too big and noisy in my opinion. Therefore it was time to change it. I wanted to go down the itx route, yet I didnt want to make any compromises regarding performance. And that is how this build was born. I went with a complete custom rigid loop from EKWB, its my first one and even if its far from perfect (as you WC gurus will quickly point out), I like how it looks right now. Building was straight forward in this case, however the tubing has been a painfull process. The lack of airflow in the case makes it quite hot too, I think I'll rework that in the future... So there it is, If you have any questions, feel free to ask away.

DAMMM! Thats one clean and sexy build! I've considered downsizing my own watercooled rig but I never understand how you can access the fill-port/res with such a tight enclosure...

Thanks ! Its a bit tedious indeed, but with a squirt-bottle its quite easy

Great build!

You should add a block for your GPU. :) +1

Thanks ! Sadly, the loop wouldnt be enough to add the gpu to it, its already way too hot as is. I could maybe add another thin rad at the bottom, but Im not sure if it'll be enough

You're using the wrong port on the cpu block as inlet. The port on the right is the inlet. This might lower temps if you haven't damaged the fins

Beautiful build. I like the contrast between the custom loop for the CPU and the reference GPU. The large diameter tubing bent in graceful curves instead of the usual 90 degree angles is perfect for the case.

Must be featured!

If you want it to run cooler, you have to purify the loop with the waters of Lake Minnetonka.

Awesome build! That Tube Girth! That Rad Thickness! Sweet Favorite Color Purple! Very impressed on how clean it looks and with such tight tolerances! Love the monoblock with how the coolant looks inside of it!

P.S. Where'd you get a Titan X Pascal @ 550.00 Euro??? Asking for a friend......

Also if heat is an issue, thoughts towards adding a fan or two? One mounted on the back of the case and one on the bottom? Both as intake fans?
