Description

I use it for gaming for the most part. This computer is amazing. I have zero complaints. It runs at 1600p like a dream on a Dell 3007 WFP my dad gave me. Problems? No, no problems. I keep the system bare bones and clean and optimize the thing weekly. Overall I can highly recommend this build. I built it over time after I was sold a junk system from Fry's before I knew anything about building. They put the package together and I built it. What I later learned after spending most of my time using it diagnosing bottle necks I figured out that they sold me a bunch of parts that had no business together let along in a gaming rig. I have since replaced everything in it but my HDD, Optical drive and Memory.

WOW...40GB SSD for $166?

That is probably not the price he paid for them.

He probably didn't do the override option to say the price he paid for it.

I just joined yesterday and apparently didn't pay much attention to a couple options. You are right I paid $0.00 for them. They were a gift. I just didn't see the override option.

"I don't know what type of brand has the best fan?! I better just buy one of each."

That happened with the Megaflow and Aerocool. The NZXT's came with the case. The Noctua I bought for the rad. I want to go all Noctua.

Awesome, so after comparing them you think Noctua has the best fans? Or is that just your preference?

They are quiet and perform amazing. I want to go with all the industrial models. All of my research and from following other people suggestions have shown me that Noctua is amazing. I like that they give great warranties too.

Very nice build though i agree those are overpriced SSD's would have been better running Corsair's or OCZ SSD's in raid

Agreed I would too, but I got them for free so I wasn't going to complain.

Oh wow. You should REALLY put those kinds of things in the description

So what is with overpaying for all of the drives except the Corsair (possibly.)

I didn't pay for the two 40s. My buddy took them out of his computer and just gave them to me. I would much rather have something bigger, better and not in a RAID. I'm really not a fan of not being able to use the TRIM command.

There are four bays in the front of the case behind a door. I put it in the top slot.

Sorry for confusion on my part. I didn't see the override price option. It is updated correctly give or take a few dollars.

I'd have to change sockets for that. That isn't going to happen until my next build. I had a old 990x board that I had my FX-8350 that died. So I bought a compatitble board for the FX-8350. This was the second best board, based on all my research, at the time. The Sabertooth is a solid board. The better one was the ROG and it had a bunch of features I wouldn't be using. Considering the perfomance is the same across sockets and that this was the second best in Asus's line your statement seems like it is entirely based on opinion. That is unless you are talking Intel. $170 compared to $300 for the Intel board I want and another $400 for the chip wasn't going to happen at the time. Next time though.

Wow. Sorry I haven't used this site in a long time apparently. No., My experience with 200 mm fans has been that they are very quiet.

I was given the SSD's. I just build to show what I have. Can you change the price paid? Also yes I have them in a RAID0
