Hey Hey, My first full loop watercooling build!
This is purely a gaming rig really focusing on DirectX 12, Vulkan games and taking advantage of Freesync. Was hoping to keep costs relatively low even for a watercooled pc. I spent a lot of time figuring out how to fit everything into the Phanteks chassis. Things didn't fit the way I had planned, but in the end it all worked out. Very quite, temps are amazing even with the aggressive OC.
I did a bit of bargain shopping for some of the components. I bought a very nice looking Fury X on eBay for $280. EK had specials on the Fury X water block and back plate. EVGA had a B-Stock sale on the Motherboard. I had the SSD from another build.
I felt a bit better installing my first GPU Water Block on a used card rather then tearing apart say a new 1080... I used EKWB- Starter kit, comes with a sweet mini pump/res and the black tubing. Nothing fancy, clear coolant but man the temps are terrific! I only had to buy an extra radiator/fan and some fittings to complete the loop.
The CPU is a pre-binned chip and is delidded. I got a solid 4.8GHz at 1.39v. For the entry level Skylake chip it is very impressive. Might be a bit much, but man it fly's
I have not OC the Fury X yet but plan to flash the bios and geek out hard on tweaking it. Regardless, this system beat out my other PC's in Timespy....
I hope you guys like it, the tubes look a bit crazy in the SFF case but so far I really dig it! Feedback, Questions please! Hard tubing next?...lol
Excellent chip! Might be the perfect gaming chip for price/performance. Overclocks well
Good looking board, performance has been super so far. Neutral Color scheme is always nice. Not a ton of features. USB and Sata connections are in bad spots for good cable management and looks.
Great speed, great timings. Low Profile for them mITX builds. Good price.
Expensive. Lighting fast and stable
I put this on a custom block, just tears up 1440p w/ Freesync. Temps are awesome, draws a lot of power. Complicated to Overclock well. Nice sized card for most builds. Cool LED's
Very nice looking. Good custom options. Watercooling was a bit more difficult then you would think. Top slide out bracket is in theory a nice touch but is very tight, hard to get in and out. Cable management is excellent. More room then you would think.
Great stable power. Great packaging. Great cables. Should run most systems with ease and built to last.
Impressive radiator cooling AND exhaust for my mITX build. Quite, slim. Bit expensive, but might just be the best slim fan if you need it.
Excellent Radiator fan. Works just as described. Looks good, quite and keeps things cool.
