Description

new titan x pascal and x34 predator My little helper wanted to open the new gpu and was happier than anything. The box that came with he monitor is now his "house" which he shares at times with his sister.

I was thinking of dong 1080 SLI but then would have the annoying part of some games scale better than others and some don't' work at all. Then I also sat down and figured out that a single Titan X pascal was cheaper than 2 1080 EVGA Hyrbids with taxes and shipping (around 322 bucks CDN less) I do plan on liquid cooling the titan, the stock cooler on the titan X pascal is not a great cooling solution for it you rally need a custom fan curve which gets rather noisy.... 1500 CDN gpu and Nvidia tosses on a crap cooling solution I was disappointed in that. All round great upgrade I can actually see things with the nice new monitor but my god that stand is overkill.

Added a custom loop using EKWB Fluid gaming kits (aluminum parts)

Part Reviews

Storage

its fast and does the job

Video Card

the stock cooler is crap on the reference designed nvidia gpus unless you need the blower style fan

Case

Pros: easy to work in water-cooling potential shipping box and insides were great open cell foam, tempered glass had protective film on both sides of glass easy to work in with larger hands magnetic fan filters work really well 4 fan magnetic fan filters

Cons: could use a tad more room no fan controller no rear exhaust limited front I/O ports

Monitor

Pros: Awesome Picture quality, 100Hz is really nice, Gsync is a nice touch, Stand is solid (you can knock someone out with it or worse)

Cons: The price, The buttons, The menu for the adjustments, Stand size

If you can get it cheaper than the 1600 CDN do it, either way really really nice monitor

Mouse

first wireless mouse and the only thing I can even suggest is make it wider for larger hands and or maybe a removable battery. Overall my favorite mouse I have owned

Headphones

Destroys my old Logitech g930's that I had and both lasted me around 16 months. The price was worth it no more damn cahrge cable, such a smart idea

Nice build!

What are your thoughts on SSD? Will you add one in the future?

Not important really to me, I look at it more what is more important, frame rate or load time. to me I choose frame rate, but I do intend on getting a SSD eventually. Maybe even another 290x (same one I have now) and a bigger power supply.
