I'm finally finished with my all-out, no holding back, build. There is very minimal I can do to improve upon this one.

I got the itch to build another PC after finding out that Amazon was stocking the Inwin D-Frame 2.0 again. I always wanted this case as I thought it would be awesome for hard tubing. This was my first time doin hardline bends, so be nice! I think it came out well. I use a few 90 degree fittings coming from the blocks, but all the other bends are my handy work. I only had a few issues with this build. The first was getting the radiators mounted. I had to order some universal xspc brackets to get it done, as the ones included with the case didn't quite fit my need. Another issue was that I cracked one of the terminals on one of the gpu waterblocks after putting it back together from cleaning it. I didn't notice until I filled the loop and water started spraying everywhere. Luckily nothing was damaged. I also had a problem with Primochill VUE and tons of build up after only 2 days of running it. It corroded the mono block and GPU blocks. Both the radiators and all the waterblocks were brand new, and I ran sysprep > distilled water > distilled water > reboot > distilled water > distilled water > distilled water then let it dry for a few days. This did not prevent the buildup. So now the VUE is fully flushed and Im using distilled water + utopia + UV Purple Intensifier.

I got over 31k on firestrike without the need for me to do any overclocking.

I wonder if a Jets-themed PC would have a pentium D and a logisys PSU, because they belong in the dump at this point.

Anyway, certainly a feature-worthy build, the hard-tubing looks perfect, and that case! I want one! +1

Otterman366 10 Builds 24 points 10 months ago

I built a browns themed PC and it turned out to be a mac

zmac0135 5 points 10 months ago

LMAO this had me dying.

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

Lmao. Well the Ravens used to be the browns

customgtp 23 Builds 4 points 10 months ago

The Jets? Why pick on them?? They had a better record than the Giants last year... Not saying much!! How about the Browns... Let's focus on them, all those first round draft picks and can't even win a game... And yes I'm an agree Jets fan ;)

DaMysteryMan 1 Build 4 points 10 months ago

Nah, they would have a celeron with 512 mb of RAM.

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

Thanks. I plan on doing the tubing over eventually.

NoobyGamer 1 Build 2 points 10 months ago

Your tubing seems pretty spot on cant even lie :)

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 2 points 10 months ago

I guess it’s passable, but it does need some work.

BurntSilicon. 1 Build 13 points 10 months ago

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

I don't get it?

dkoense 1 Build 5 points 10 months ago

-1 because it's not an Eagles build #FlyEaglesFly

Jk man awesome build

KevinM9 4 points 10 months ago

Preaching to the Choir... An Eagles build would have a single 1080ti that would burn up its VRMs a couple months in, but then you would pull that trusty 1060 out of the drawer and it would magically run 4k at 60 fps...

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

Thanks

The D-Frame made me think of Jayztwocents. When did this build start? and which D-frame build came first?

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 2 points 10 months ago

His came first. I actually started looking for this case again after I saw his.

dshaka 1 Build 3 points 10 months ago

Very nicely done bud! Clearly a lot of time, effort and cost went into this build. I smell a feature... +1000

VladQwerty 2 Builds 2 points 10 months ago

This PC is so gorgeous. I love the color of the build, and the case it's one of my favourites, and the hardline tubing it's awesome (for a begginer, it's excellent). Good job!

Inndee 2 Builds 2 points 10 months ago

You left the stickers on the monoblock and the GPU backplates.

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

... and on the m.2 heatsinks and motherboard. I keep the plastic on everything that I can. Why? I have no clue.

Inndee 2 Builds 2 points 10 months ago

Picture 12 shows the sticker removed from the m.2.

Inconsistent!

Hot damn! Thats expensive! +1

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

It is. But I always swap and sell parts with the pc community. Allows me to recoup a ton of money from other builds. Feeds my addiction lol.

Real_GabeN_ 2 points 10 months ago

+1 Very nice dude ! I LOOVE the D-Frame too, the design is soooo great and beautiful ! (And I hope you got a lot of fun to build this man !)

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 2 points 10 months ago

I always have the most fun building them. When its all done, I'm satisfied for a brief moment. Then I want to build another.

Real_GabeN_ 2 points 10 months ago

I do have the same problem as you... When one is done I always want to build another !

Hxx 8 Builds 2 points 10 months ago

nice build just suggestion for your next hardline build. try to keep the bends consistent like if you're going for 90 degree angle bends, then make all bends 90 degrees. also try not to overlap. i know its tough and 1/2 tubing is a b**ch but just thought i'd share since you said youre new to hardline tubing. Also i agree on fluid. stay the f away from pastels and vues and all that **** not worth it because cleaning it is a *****. best stuff is clear coolant and add a dye . basically distilled and biocide = what u have = clear coolant. I burned myself twice with pastels never again.

edit: btw jezus dude 14k and i thought my s**** was expensive at 5k. I hope u do more than just gaming with it

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

Yeah, I was rushing the bends. Im definitely going to do them over at some point.

drferrell 2 Builds 2 points 10 months ago

Amazing build! I do have a few questions though:

1) About how loud does that thing get?

2) Does your build have any dust filters or a way to combat dust build up?

3) What do you hope to use this beast of a computer for? (Just curious. Usually builds like this is for stuff like high quality video rendering or creativity)

4) How good does **** look :D (Sorry)

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

1) Its my quietest build yet. Its running very very silent.

2) No dust defense :(

3) To browse the net with Chrome

4) ...

Tech22 1 Build 2 points 10 months ago

I find dust filters to be pretty useless and just remove them. They restrict airflow way too much and only prolong cleaning dust (1 time a month --> 2 times a month). Dusting only takes about 3 minutes (especially with that case) so I don't see a reason to worry!

Chev_Chelios 2 points 10 months ago

5) Profit.

CJ34311 2 points 10 months ago

But, Can it run crisis ?

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

if i set it to low

GM007 2 points 10 months ago

Please tell me you’re secretly friends with JayzTwoCents

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

Im a fan. Seeing his build made me want the D.Frame 2.0 again. I started the build in the Original D.Frame.

ggggovi 2 points 10 months ago

$1000 for a case?!?!?!?

Great build tho. How does it run fortnite?

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

$1200 for the case... I only paid half of that. But to be fair, it does come with a 1065 watt psu.

ggggovi 2 points 10 months ago

..........

im speachless

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

thats a good thing right?

ggggovi 2 points 10 months ago

Yognaught_Ace 2 Builds 2 points 10 months ago

Really nice build, but why get the Special edition titan Xp's if you just removed the cool shroud and water cooled it? Just to say you had 2, lol

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

They were actually cheaper that then normal ones.

Yognaught_Ace 2 Builds 2 points 10 months ago

wow, have to say, thats pretty surprising

DaMysteryMan 1 Build 2 points 10 months ago

You buy the galactic empire collectors founders edition Titan Xp with the special limited edition blower: and put a water block on it...

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

yup. did it twice. they were cheaper than the standard Titan Xp

GodlyKrishYT 2 points 10 months ago

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

Maple_Syrup 2 Builds 2 points 10 months ago

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

Thanks!

Svvamprat 4 Builds 2 points 10 months ago

I was wondering if that Photon mounting bracket that mounts to the radiator came with the Photon pump/res combo or if you purchased that separate? I have the older Photon 170 mounting bracket that has the big flat plate that mounts to nothing unless you want to poke holes in your case. I've been looking for an option to mount to the front res for a while now. +1 on your build very nice.

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

Yes, the bracket came with the pump/res combo.

TheRealNoobHere 2 points 10 months ago

JESUS ******* CHRIST THIS IS GORGEOUS!!!!!

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

Thanks

customgtp 23 Builds 2 points 10 months ago

Hi , beautiful build btw

What am I looking at on pic 12? Is that an m.2 with a heatsink??

And I have an evo 500gb m.2, so my next question is do I need one of those, like is it necessary? I've never even thought of looking at the temps of that drive

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

yeah, its a m.2 heatsink. I personally don't think they're necessary in my build, got it mainly for aesthetics. These m.2 drives will throttle if overheated. But I've never seen them overheat.

MichealJoeden 2 points 10 months ago

Are the 960 evos in Raid 0?, and just about the only thing you can improve would be more ram, which is not needed.

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

They actually aren't 960's theyre samsung 981's. But no they aren't raided... you need an intel vroc key for that I believe. And they need to be intel drives. haven't really looked into it tho.

krm.dante 2 points 10 months ago

Any pc with $1,200 case deserves a feature lol jk, but nice build!

EuphoniumsNStuff 2 points 10 months ago

Love the D-Frame. +45

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

Using this case was the whole reason for the new build.

EagleByte 1 Build 2 points 10 months ago

I'm just wondering why you decided to go with the Star Wars edition Titan XP if you're just going to put a water block on it. Isn't it supposed to use the integrated cooler? I thought that's what it was meant for.

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

At the end of the day it’s a Titan Xp. And it was the cheapest option between the normal and the collectors edition.

EagleByte 1 Build 2 points 10 months ago

Okay.

tech_geek100 1 Build 2 points 10 months ago

pretty sweet build! love the case! +1

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

Hatushara 1 Build 2 points 10 months ago

Gorgeous build! Oh, and congratulations on the feature. Have to say I love your builds. Wish I could afford this.

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 2 points 10 months ago

Thanks. Still surprised by it.

Leelu 2 points 10 months ago

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

antonjetpack 2 points 10 months ago

Beast PC, but can it run Crysis? +1 CONGRATS ON FEATURED

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

Lol

tarfeef101 4 Builds 2 points 10 months ago

Not bad at all for a first time build. I might suggest waiting for one end to fully cool before doing the second bend (unless of course you already did that), as doing them sequentially but immediately following each other is often what leads to the overbending you have. But since they are slight, and continue the curves well it still flows well. Congrats on the feature!

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

Its because I miscalculated the length. I had to go back and stretch some of the bends out instead of doing the right thing and recutting and rebending.

tarfeef101 4 Builds 2 points 10 months ago

Okay, that makes sense. Yeah, I've had to waste some tubes doing that in the past... Definitely is worth it though. At least when you love right angles as much as I do.

ZIC 1 Build 2 points 10 months ago

Just get a titan V

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

For what reason(s)?

ZIC 1 Build 2 points 10 months ago

Well if your gaming, most games better support 1 card vs SLI, but as you said below you like the look of 2 cards.

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

True... For those games that support one card, They will still be powered by a Titan Xp :)

lordvaughn92 2 points 10 months ago

But is this computer elite?

kas79 1 Build 2 points 10 months ago

Well I just finished my first build. After seeing something like that build I feel tiny... My god. Well done sir. That thing is not a pc. This is a beast. Excellent.

Costajack 2 points 10 months ago

I can't believe you tore apart the Star Wars card.

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

why not?

Costajack 2 points 10 months ago

its a collectors card and you turned into a normal titan xp

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

no, i turned it into a collectors with a waterblock. :p

Costajack 2 points 10 months ago

But why couldn't u use a normal titan Xp

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

Why can't I use a collectors edition?

blohmkin 1 Build 2 points 10 months ago

This thing is out of control. :D

IndividualSOULS 2 points 10 months ago

I really don’t like the Ravens, but good build nice job in the bends +1!

RandomGuy9876 2 points 10 months ago

How many Internet explorer toolbars?

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 2 points 10 months ago

Lol.

Davidkun 1 Build 2 points 10 months ago

Okay serious question and I don't mean this with any dislike whatsoever. But why did you get the StarWars Titan Xp if you're just gonna throw a water block on the card anyways? Like I said no hatred I'm just curious lol.

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

Ive answered this many times, but its still a valid question. The answer is price. The cost for the collectors edition cards were cheaper, and at the end of the day they are still collectors edition cards and the heatsink/fan can go back on to them with no problem.

Davidkun 1 Build 2 points 10 months ago

Ah okay that makes sense. Sorry, I didn't realize you answered this question already.

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

no problem at all.

baliukas 1 Build 2 points 10 months ago

This pc for what... rocket science :D?

sammys87gnxgta4 1 Build 1 point 10 months ago

The Baltimore Who's?

I have one thing with this system other than jokingly making fun of a team I'm not a fan of. Why didn't you go with a Titan V instead of two Titan Xp's? SLI is slowly dying out with DX12 being a hip new thing that says no to SLI, but either way the build is phenomenal. +1

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 2 points 10 months ago

I wanted to go SLI. I love the look of dual cards. Also, there isn't a water block available for the Titan V. When Volta based GTX's arrive, I will definitely start a new build.

Rhizomorphic 2 points 10 months ago

When your such a baller you spend $1700+ because you love the look of dual cards. You are now my idol.

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

Thats not the only reason, lol. It would've been the same price for a Titan V.

Rhizomorphic 2 points 10 months ago

Also isnt Titan V more of a workstation card than a gaming one?

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

deep learning.

Radox-0 5 Builds 2 points 10 months ago

Titan v does have waterblocks: https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-fc-titan-v-nickel but yeah two cards do looks cool :)

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

Well I stand corrected.

Bee66 12 Builds 2 points 10 months ago

EKWB and Bitspower both have waterblocks available for Titan V and have been in stock for a while.

Either way the Dual Titan Xp's look sick, love dual GPU setups =)

drworsley submitter 7 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

Yeah, i just learned that. I most likely wouldn't have gotten a Titan V anyway.

Bee66 12 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

yea, 2x titan xp is still cheaper than a titan V
