Description

My friend was looking for a small budget PC that could be carried out the door and driven between two separate houses so I came up with this. I chose the MSI 1050 ti because its a miniature version of the card I have and I love this card as it works great, is quiet and preforms quite well. If I were to change anything I would have gotten a micro ATX slim case instead of the cooler master elite 110 but it works well enough. Building was fun and a nice change of pace from ATX builds and a bit more challenging. Everything works and its a great 1080p budget gaming PC.

Nice! I've been looking at that case, motherboard and processor myself for a budget build...

Is the lack of ports and M.2 SSDs on that motherboard an issue? I've been looking at it, and concluded I'll have to spend extra money on a H270 for the M.2, triple display support, Intel Optane, and dual NICs (good for Linux, although not really needed).

Ya if your looking at M.2 ssds then this board is not a good choice.

Why'd you go for the old i3? Did you friend re-use it from an old build?

Nice build! should have got an updated version of the ASRock motherboard (H270M) to future proof it a little more, just my thought though.
