There are quite a few 5350/AM1H combo builds out there, but thought I would post this build as there are some great prices out there on some of the components.
This is ultra portable, relatively quick, and uses low wattage.
Built this as a "back-up". I have used Intel G3258s for previous HTPC builds, but figured for the price I'd give and AMD CPU a shot.
The following parts were purchased at Microcenter: - Processor & Motherboard ($40 bundle discount) - Targus AC adapter (purchased a generic brand adapter off of Amazon with no luck)
The following parts were purchased at Amazon: - CPU cooler - Case - Case fan
The following parts were purchased at Newegg: - RAM
Used the hard drive out of an old external drive. Could also use a USB stick, I believe.
Running Elementary OS (Linux).
Use primarily for running Kodi.
