Description

I built this machine because it was my life's dream to have the best computer I could build and to play games at high frame rates at 4k.

Also I wanted to build something that I could take pictures of that I could put in my wallet and when people show me their mediocre and boring children pictures, BAMB! I will show this to them. They will be blown away by the beauty and craftmanship.

I did it because I could. Overclocked to 5.4GHZ and GPUS SLI overclocked pretty good, ask me for stats if you should so like to do.

That's not a computer. That's a science experiment. +1

5.4 GHZ? For real? Is it stable?

  • 1 point

Well... Stable is a relative term. When I'm punishing both the GPUS and CPU then 5.4 isn't stable for ever, even Liquid nitrogen would be needed for a long duration benchmark such as cinebench. 5.1 is very stable for gaming etc. 5.4 ghz is stable for CPU only benchmarks as long as the reservoir isn't being heated by two hungry hippo 2080 RTXs

Wow, a 5.4GHz core clock. WHAT ARE YOUR TEMPS!?!?!?!?!

Lol Great question! If you check my timespy benchmark I posted thar with both GPUS at 99% load, and the CPU running at 5.1 GHZ on 8 Cores (Extreme loads I would say) the Temperature hovers at 46 degrees Celcius. GPU and CPU are rated up to 90 degrees. I like to keep the temps lower than 60 Celsius for long term durations though. I was able to get a top 98% score on Timespy, Although they don't show scores beyond the top 100, I think this would put me somewhere around top 150 world as a top 50 score would also put you in the 98 percentile rank.

Haha no child hate here, in fact love them very much, but since I don't have any of mine own I have to build computer to sate my jealousy of not having them... At least that's the company line. BTW If I ever become a billionaire, I'll buy everyone one like on oprah when people look under their seats

Even if you have like 10 Billion, you could only supply around 12500000 of these(12.5 million, to save you from counting them all

Your second picture, "it was beauty that killed the beast".

This is my dream pc build if I could ever get over my fear of tube bending.

Not as bad as you think, Just buy a heat gun, lots of PETG (I used acrylic) tubes for practice, and a nice tube bending kit (all in my ingredient list) you will feel like that meme where hes like "I'm kind of a scientist myself" once completed

Nice build. I love Thermaltake products. For some reason I'm starting to think 3dmark needs a massive update? Our scores look similar and I'm running 9900k and 1 1080ti. Really strange how thing are scored and calculated sometimes.

  • 1 point

haha that would be amazing with one 1080ti you would have to be in the top 100 1 gpu score are you running liquid nitrogen?

Heck no. I'm running an AIO on the cpu haha. I must be looking at the reporting wrong I will see it on a big screen when I get home tonight

"Did it because I could." ok, but how could you?, wouldn't this take at least 7 months of savings if you were going to deduct $1,000 every month from your paychecks? Or did you do this on a whim.
