Description

Gave my old rig to my son so had to build something new. Wanted to play with some RGB soooo...

Nothing really crazy about the build... some of the cable management got tricky but it was more of a space issue than a really hard time routing things.

Haven't spent any time OC'ing anything as of yet; will update when I do.

What resolution do you play at? The RGB should give you more FPS at 4K.

nice parts list. Although, the EVGA 1080ti SC@ Hybrid would've been a better option than FE 1080ti with EVGA waterblock. and WD 6Tb HHD has gooootta be the Red Pro 6Tb, has equal performance to black but has a modified structure for vibration reduction. Black has longer warranty, but Red Pro will need the warranty less. +1 for the solid parts choices though

Sorry for the delay here. At the time I ordered the screen I was told it was HDMI powered but couldn't get it to work. Then on a whim I decided to plug in the usb cable as well and then it started working just fine, so the info from the seller wasn't accurate.

Pretty good, aside from the fourty-whiners logo.

Nice build. How did you get the 5" screen to work? I only get a white screen and windows doesn't even see it. Powered it by usb to pins 2 and 9.

The mini monitor seemed to work fine once I realized that it wasn't actually powered via HDMI (and then plugged in USB and HDMI) worked fine with no issues after that. Here's the one I used:
