Description

This was my first personal PC build but I have built PC's for other people so I wasn't new to the task :) I already had an MSI GTX 560Ti so I'm currently using that. It took me about 20 minutes to get everything in the case and screwed in and then about 2 hours to get everything cabled managed... but man is it clean. I went for a blue, black, and silver color scheme, it turned out pretty well and it has been a great rig so far and an amazing price to performance ratio! Right now I'm running my i5 at 4.7ghz and 1.32 volts and it's prime95 stable at reasonable temps.

Yeah... it really is, it looks worse than it is, but I have put some blocks underneath it to raise it up a couple inches which lets me push it back towards the fall farther. So far it hasn't been an issue, but I will be needing a bigger desk.

A nice selection of parts. Which 560ti version do you have?

You did a nice job on the cable management and having a modular PSU is helpful. I am curios why you mounted the PSU to take air in from within the case as you keep it up on a desk. I would choose to flip it over.

Nice job... +1

I have an MSI Twin Frozr II. I ended up changing alot of things after these pictures were taken, I have it intaking from the bottom as there is a dust filter for it anyway. The front, bottom, and rear fan are intakes and the two tops are exhaust.

I like it. So what GPU are you going to get? What is this computer for? Gaming?

I may or may not upgrade my gpu, I don't really play anything more demanding than Battlefield 3 and I run that fine. Yes it's for gaming, but I'm going to use it for anything I do really.

Nice build man, might I suggest adding a hdd for extra media/games & whatnot? Glad to see you can get a good overclock on that cooler, actually thinking of getting the same one for an 8320 to overclock. +1

I have a 500GB HDD in there now but I'm probably going to end up getting a 2TB western digital black or blue in the future. For now I'll make do haha and thanks!

Thanks! I LOVE this motherboard. Best one I have ever worked with, the BIOS is smooth, easy to navigate, responsive and has many safety features that help me sleep at night. I'd highly recommend getting this board.

Thank you, I take pride in it, I spend way more time on cable management than anything else.

I added some new pictures, the flash discolored the motherboard and makes the cables stand out but in reality, the cables blend in with the inside of the case and are invisible without direct light.
