Description

Ok so i started to like pc when i found minecraft back in i think it was 2009 i played on my mums laptop (which was only really used for web surfing and straming movies & such) but after a couple of years my mums graphics card became outdated with minecraft and i was also going into a transition to some FPS games. I then decided to by my own pc to play minecraft and a bit of FPS games (i still played alot of xbox) I then lost my interests in minecraft and made the full switch to xbox and csgo, i could only run csgo at around 20fps 13 lows 30 - 40 when i got lucky.

I got tired of being held back because of my ****** pc so i spent about 1 year lurking forums and such looking to make the perfect budget build for what i was going to do with it, i made tons of diffrent builds and in the most recent past i was set on my cpu gpu case and storage. I was only left to find the right mobo and some cheap ram.

I then bought my pc on the 15/8/15 and still haven't got my head around being able to buy the parts. after i purchesed the parts it took around 1 week for them to arrive i took apart my old pc for the wireless card and gpu as i ordered it from umart not cpl online. i put all my parts together except the graphics card and the wireless card. i cut a bit off the gpu with a grinder and i undid some screws and stuff to make the wirelesscard fit. i forgot to take photos of my graphics card but ill give one of it in the pc and the box.

im doing benchmarks on my youtube channle so go there if you want to see some www.youtube.com/user/megasylvester08

Part Reviews

CPU

The FX - 6300 is a great cpu for multitasking ect. its also great for running some games with a really bad gpu (if u go for a cheap *** gpu then its kinds like intergrated graphics)

Motherboard

Great motherboard. Good Overclocking capabilitys

Video Card

the 270x direct CU II TOP edition from Asus is awesome. it provides good fps per $ and has good heat spred. i would recommend getting an outtake fan or 2 becuase it dispatches heat into outside the gpu into the case

Case

Great case. bit difficult cable management but its managable

Power Supply

I needed something fast so i bought this. its doing well but i would recommend a 80+ Bronze or higher

Good to see someone as young as myself building a PC from scratch. Also, you mentioned umart and cpl. Are you an Australian resident?

I think its great! I overclocked my R9 270X and its holding up fine. It is 80 Plus Certified as well and scored 78% overall, a great budget power supply, it is Tier 3 so it isn't to shabby.

Are the cables on the PSU easy to bend? I'm going to be making a build in the Elite 110 soon and I'm looking for a PSU that has easy to bend cables so I can fold them and cable tie them out the way with ease
