Just by sheer price/perf, i would have said to go with an AMD Ryzen processor due to the way higer core counts for the price. Otherwise, this is a pretty decent build and should last you fr at least another couple years.
Yeah I actually just built a Ryzen PC, it's uploaded if you want to check it out. I've always been an Intel fan but the numbers do not lie and I'm a convert now lol.
Is the 1TB 860 EVO your boot drive? If yes, is it any good?
I must have mistakenly added that; it was supposed to be a crucial 1TB drive, I'm not sure how that happened, but thanks for pointing that out so I can modify my parts list. However, I have installed several of the EVO series drives in other laptops and PCs as the boot drive for computers in the workplace and they work great. I also personally use a 500GB 970 EVO m.2 NVME in my primary laptop and I just installed a 256GB 860 EVO PRO SSD in my secondary laptop and installed another 500GB 970 EVO m.2 NVME in another laptop last weekend. For the money though, I would probably get a crucial for my boot drive if I was going for a TB. Did that for my Ryzen build and this build and they work fantastic.
Thank you. Yeah I was coming really close to my budget, the good thing is that I can always upgrade the graphics card later on.
Agree! I wanted to put a Red Devil in my AMD build but it didn't fit in my SSF case. Feel free to check that build out, it's way better.
Thank you. Yeah I know! Sending that thing back was super depressing lol.
