I decided to use the In Win 303 case for this build because I could not resist that frameless tempered glass panel on a mid-ATX case for under $100. It did not disappoint. Granted, installing those bottom fans is a pain in the ***, and it's not the most perfect design for good air flow, but...tempered glass...under $100... c'mon.
Overclocked the CPU to 4.2 and it blasts through pretty much anything. In the graphics department, the GTX 960 is holding its own for now. I mostly play The Division and Star Wars Old Republic. So far, I haven't had any real complaints about performance. I can run around The Division on high settings without any issues, so I'm cool with that.
For tonight's makeover, I replaced all the case fans with some snazzy white Thermaltake Riing 12s. Bottom 3 fans are intake, top 3 fans are exhaust. Now, not only do I prefer the look of the LED ring's subtle glow over the glare from fully illuminated blades, but these fans are noticeably quieter than the Corsairs they replaced too. Double win!
So, that's all for now. I'll be back at it again soon with some more upgrades, and until I'm done disassembling and reassembling for a while, Vader is gonna have to deal with my "disturbing" lack of cable management.
Some of the best headphones I've ever owned. I bought these headphones for gaming and I had a pair of mod-range studio headphones for recording and mixing. These sound better.
