Description

I decided to use the In Win 303 case for this build because I could not resist that frameless tempered glass panel on a mid-ATX case for under $100. It did not disappoint. Granted, installing those bottom fans is a pain in the ***, and it's not the most perfect design for good air flow, but...tempered glass...under $100... c'mon.

Overclocked the CPU to 4.2 and it blasts through pretty much anything. In the graphics department, the GTX 960 is holding its own for now. I mostly play The Division and Star Wars Old Republic. So far, I haven't had any real complaints about performance. I can run around The Division on high settings without any issues, so I'm cool with that.

For tonight's makeover, I replaced all the case fans with some snazzy white Thermaltake Riing 12s. Bottom 3 fans are intake, top 3 fans are exhaust. Now, not only do I prefer the look of the LED ring's subtle glow over the glare from fully illuminated blades, but these fans are noticeably quieter than the Corsairs they replaced too. Double win!

So, that's all for now. I'll be back at it again soon with some more upgrades, and until I'm done disassembling and reassembling for a while, Vader is gonna have to deal with my "disturbing" lack of cable management.

Headphones

Some of the best headphones I've ever owned. I bought these headphones for gaming and I had a pair of mod-range studio headphones for recording and mixing. These sound better.

Here we have a really nice looking blue build, slightly ruined by a stain of red! Somebody must of been pissed about this build looking better then theirs, and decided to ruin it with some blood...

Build looks great, blue is a very nice color. Shame there aren't many blue GPU's... Shame.

Hey, I like that hint of red. It's artistic! Hehehehe.

I have my eye on that ASUS 1070. Awesome card with the added bonus of RGB accents!

Oh yes, artistic. Compared to all the other blue in the build... Nah, just kidding a bit, it's fine. But in comparison with all the other blue, it really stands out and looks weird to me.

There's a 1070 that has RGB accents? Damn, real nice.

lol. Funny thing is, I'm actually trying to get it away from being a "blue Build", but the LED set I bought is garbage and I couldn't get it to produce any other color that looked good.

But yeah...Im sure soon they're gonna be making Entire cases RGB. It's out of control.

I like how this (Technically Asetek) Intel cooler is supported on AMD sockets...

But, +1 anyway. ;-)

Went back and forth over that, getting slightly better performance with this one. 1060 would've been my choice if I did any video rendering on this one, but I don't so this works better for me.

the fact that you said "lack of cable management" makes me question my definition of cable management
