After 5 years of gaming on a Macbook Pro, I finally saved up the money to build myself a proper PC!

I use this PC for mainly gaming and occasionally streaming. Honestly putting this bad boy all together wasn't too terrible difficult, especially for someone who knew nothing about PCs. The hardest part about building it was the front panel connectors being too close to the PSU shroud, making it very difficult to put in the pins; however, I'm sure that's a popular struggle among us builders. Also, if anyone has any recommendations for the radiator placement, I will gladly hear them. At the moment it is mounted on the top with the fans configured to push hot air out.

My favourite part about this setup are the lil plants I potted on top of the PC !!

I'm quite impressed and proud of the finished beauty.

Aww thank you!! Unfortunately those monitors aren't VESA compatible, so I would need to buy some expensive adapters. I thought about it, but I decided to skip on the mount to save some money (:

This is beautiful, really nice black and white set up, my only question is why didn't you go for the silver version of the 1070. tho it may be because the black one was cheaper or that was the one you wanted from start. Don't mind it, is just me with this feeling to stick my 1070 there.

Yes I regret my graphics card choice more than anything in this build ): to be honest, the cooling with this one isn't as great as others. I should've done more research prior to building my PC and bought one with a better cooling system. Thank you so much for the kind words (:

I see your get at 70C (by description) doesn't seem that bad. Well in my case I don't know how the others will do since this is the 2nd GPU I own. (my old 960 use to get to 81C, and my 1070 gets to 68C) Im using a custom fan profile so by doing that you can improve it . Still the EVGA 1070 is a nice looking card regarless, you only need now a backplate to cover the top. You can look at V1tech they have nice looking backplates tho a bit pricey (plate one color $25, and with design can be up to $40)

Oh wow! I really need to do some research on custom fan profiles since I have now experience with it. I just use the presets on the CAM software!

And yes I've been really wanting a back plate! Thank you so much for the suggestion! Their back plates look absolutely gorgeous! I just wouldn't know what color to go with lol so many options

For your GPU fan custom fan profile you can use MSI Afterburner and just play around with % speed to see where you want it when GPU is a full load base on noise and temps.

(with my I have it as when it reach 45C it goes directly to 25%, and raise to when 70C=65%) so there is reasonable noise but temps are always below 70C on my case)

And yeah, with the backplate is hard to pic one I like the design but also they are pricey so don't know if to go for a solid color plate or one with a design, and which color would be better (Need to think if white/silver/black (combination of two of those or just the solid one color, if solid it would be between white and silver)

And yeah, I was thinking about something solid. I have a lot of brand names in my PC I don't think I need anymore lol! I was thinking about a mirrored silver colour!

You could have gotten the white LED version of that corsair ram with the same speed for about the same price. Otherwise, amazing build and setup. Link to the desk?

Awesome build! looks great! i think you couldve saved on the cooler and maybe on the cpu and then you couldve bought a 1080 but its a dope build and awesome setup!

Yeah! I was actually planning on getting a smaller one but I decided I want to keep my PC on my desk. Since I have like 80+ lbs on my desk, it does wobble a tad if I hit it with my leg or need to put most of my weight onto it. But, if you're just having your monitors, you shouldn't face any problems.
