Description

I built this solely for gaming and entertainment. Achieving 60+ fps with max settings in all titles save a few. Couldn't be happier. I overclocked the cpu to 4.6ghz @ 1.175v with no stability issues. Will probably push it to 4.8 but I'm quite content for now. Stays cool even with the aging hyper 212 though I might upgrade to water in the future.

Edit: added better photos and I got a new desk.

How do you like that NZXT case? I have been thinking about getting the white one.

I love it! Very clean and minimalistic. Cable management is excellent. If you do buy the S340 go for the elite version. The acrylic window won't scratch nearly as easily as the regular one (and you will scratch it eventually). Hope that helps.

Be careful overclocking to 4.8 with only a hyper 212. Great build. Looks awesome. Great part list.

What kind of texture does the case have I've seen some reviews on youtube and it looks very glossy?

It's a matte finish. I hate seeing fingerprints on my things.

still love that case (its an Old love..) ..have you overclocked the 7600k above 4.6Ghz ? is it safe... One thing is for shure..its a very HOT chip.. nice build

I did some tests and yes it's safe but it ran pretty hot. Averaged high 60's, low 70's under load with spikes into the 80's. Not dangerously hot by any means, but I dialed it back down to 4.6 as I didn't see the need to push it harder. I'll put it this way, the performance increase was outweighed by the high temps. 4.8 is really for watercooling. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the help.i am using a corsair h115i and the temps are similar to yours..maybe my thermal paste sucks.its the mx-4.

I used arctic silver 5 with the spread method. Some chips are bound to run hotter than others though. I feel lucky to get what I got out of mine.
