Description

My second Ryzen build. Love the new AMD processor specially this one, great price, great performance and six cores. Let me know what you guys think of this build. And again I ask you the audience, is this a clean looking build, I like my builds to look super clean and professional.

I would say the build looks very clean, good choice on PSU so you didn't get ketchup and mustard cables plugging into the video card and motherboard. Only thing I would add is a LED strip to the top to light up the inside more.

Yes me personally i would also add and LED strip, but the customer didn't want one so it was his preference.

Well I do agree that they are very easily overdone and is a matter of taste. I didn't add any to my current PC because where the PC sits I can't see inside it anyhow but having I do like seeing them used for a subtle effect rather than going all out. I just thought a single strip at the very top to light up the motherboard wouldn't be too over the top and show off your handywork more. Still it's a great build and the part choice actually makes sense, for a mid range gaming/entry level content creation PC. That R5 1600 is in a great spot right now since it can overclock to basically be a 1600x.

Looks super clean, nice choice of parts. Will definitely be a solid editing/creating/1080p gaming machine for the recipient, though I'm guessing not a ton of editing/creating with only 500GB of total drive space.

Did you get the EVGA RAM to run at 3000? My Tomahawk has been very finicky. I'm still at 2666 with my 3200 rated Corsair sticks.

Nope didn't have luck with the ram too to run it at its full speed, I was able to have it stable at 2666 too.

For buying all the parts do you have to buy them separately or is there a way to buy them all at once from this site?

I bought everything at MicroCenter. But you can order everything from Newegg too, you have my parts list so go ahead add all of them to your kart, and you can have them all delivered to your house.

Great Ryzen build. This build probably triggered a bunch of Intel fanboys/fangirls. Anyway how well does it do in gaming for both 1080p and 1440p

I haven't have a chance to test it on 1440p, but for 1080p gaming this graphic card is great. I was getting easily 50/60 fps, on games like GTA V, Battlefield 1, and Witcher 3 on max settings. On Unigine Valley the average fps was 64.1 and a score of 2683.

I am thinking of going for this build myself. Are the fans built into the case? Or did you have to buy additional fans?
