Description

My goal with this build was to build something that is as Top of the Line as I could, and I would say I achieved that. I am extremely happy with everything about this PC. I modified things just to see how I could do and to make this rig more of my own. Sleeved cables myself. Delidded processor.

When I first saw that CoolerMaster had made this case, I knew that this was the one I wanted. I wanted to do an mATX build, yet this one still has ample room in case I ever want to do some water cooling. Outside of the case is the same size as my last build which can be located here.

I have learned a LOT since my last build as far as aesthetics go. I wanted things to flow much better with this one, and I am extremely proud to say that this is MY PC. Decided to name it Aurora merely because of the RGB capabilities.

As for how this runs, I average about 80FPS on GTA V and Rise of the Tomb Raider on Ultra. Destiny 2 stays at 120FPS on Ultra due to the G-Sync. Computer stays extremely quiet while gaming due to the delidding.

EDIT: I have added another monitor and a Vertical Vesa mount to my desk.

Part Reviews

CPU

Delidded and achieved 70 C max temp at 5GHz at 1.395V. Love this processor!

CPU Cooler

RGB is beautiful. Pump is silent.

Motherboard

Made overclocking a breeze! Love the fact that it has WiFi built into it.

Memory

Might be biased, but it is the most stunning RAM around.

Storage

Lots of storage space for cheap. Used in two separate builds now. Seems reliable as one is going on 5 years.

Video Card

I love this GPU. It is my dream card, and I was able to buy RIGHT before the Mining craze.

Case

Great looking case with ample room for anything.

Power Supply

Stays silent since I never use too much of its power output.

Monitor

Looks good with my Ultrawide being underneath it. Just the size I needed.

Monitor

So glad I waited for the new model. 120Hz is fantastic. Just wish the frame were a little smaller. Still 5 stars though.

Keyboard

Absolutely LOVE this keyboard. Only issue I have is the fact that the switches seem a little TOO sensitive when typing. If my finger slips over another key, I end up typing that button.

Mouse

Comfortable, durable, beautiful

Headphones

Great sound. Decent mic. Went with this because I wanted wireless and I actually prefer a "Gaming Headset" even though I could get better sound out of a more expensive set of headphones and a modmic.

Speakers

I have wanted these speakers for a long time. I love the different look of them and they sound phenomenal! Ended up buying them from EvoDesk since it has the acrylic plate to mount it under my standing desk. Looks really clean.

Custom

It is a headphone stand. It has RGB. It looks good. It works.

NZXT's CAM software. It is used to control the AIO's pump speed and lighting. It can also control fans, but I plugged mine into the mobo to let it control them instead.
