Description

I mainly use this PC for personal use such a gaming, but I also use it for photoshop. My general idea in creating this PC was to not use any integrated colours like a red or blue case, yet add as much rgb as possible. The NZXT brand was the main provider of such lighting with the Hue +, the Aer fans and the Kraken x52 rev 2. I then added the Thermaltake Versa C23 TG RGB, the Trident Z rgb (2x8gb) ram from G.Skill and the Smart rgb power supply from Thermaltake, this was a mistake. I highly suggest not using this power supply because it in non-modular, which makes cable management more difficult. Furthermore, the rgb is mute because of the advantages of putting the fan on the bottom of the case. The positives of this power supply is its affordable price. All the USB ports provided by the case aren’t enough for all of the connections used, so I decided to and an internal USB port from NZXT, again. Finally, the Razer Mamba Toirnament Edition adds the last bit of rgb.

CPU: For this Build I desided to use the rizen 7 1700x which does not come with a stock cooler, if this is an issue, just go for the 1700 or 1800. In my case, naturally the cooler is useless. If intel is your prefered brand, you may always go for an i7 and a different motherboard.

GPU: I originally intended on going with the GeForce GTX 1070 ti but the prices are enormously inflated, so I opted for its little brother, the 1070. This specific model is currently out of stock. Those that aren’t are also vastly inflated. This is why I would suggest buying you GPU of choice at a electronics store near you. Right now, online it goes for roughly 1200$ Canadian, yet I managed to pick it up for 750$.

If you would like to see a complete video of my build, just go to tompcgik on YouTube and the video will be up shortly. Thank you!

Green and black is the same theme I go with every build. Just something about it!
