I think 780 for 100 bucs is a gift ! At least here, in my region :)

  • 1 point

yeah, it's pretty much a gift. definitely a great price

I give this build a rating of: Sex. Well done. That cable management in the back is making me all hot under the collar, haha!

  • 1 point

Ahah, thanks !

  • 2 points

Yes. Yes. A million times yes. Love the g10s on the 780s and also for sticking with older hardware. But why did you take off those beautiful asus coolers? Also beautiful case, cablework and everything. Great job

  • 1 point

Thanx mate, I love the DCII coolers too, but dropped temps from 89C to 56-57C under overclock worth it !

  • 2 points

That braided power cord is sick did you make that yourself??

  • 3 points

Thanx, yes I did it. Only 2h of work by the way ;)

Only :)

how did you do that by the way

Very clean build, super well done. I love the clean tubing routes and the superb cable management

Thanx, insane case for cable management and building in it was very easy !

That rig looks hot! Water cooling on GPUs makes it look so cool.

  • 2 points

How do you like the gpu cooling setup?

  • 1 point

I'm really happy with how they perform. With stock DCII coolers I had up to 90C in overclock and closed case doors, now it's 55-60C depending on the ambient temps in the room.

  • 2 points

Dang, this makes me wanna try this lol

  • 2 points

Never thought I'd say this, but those NZXT Kraken brackets actually look good

  • 2 points

I had the exact same feeling when first assembled them, but when I managed to leave the DCII backplates and sides on the GPU together with the G10's, it turned out pretty nice :)

  • 1 point

For sure! :D

Have the x31 coolers been noisy? I'm thinking about putting on on my 390 but I want a quiet build

  • 1 point

The pumps a bit noisy on auto RPM, they both have the NZXT's cracling pumps (possibly they are defective), but with pumps on full speed the cracling noise dissapears and I can barely hear them, so it's ok for me !

Cool, thanks!

780's in a build at this time??

Cleanest f***ing cable management on earth???

A monochromatic setup with no cables in sight????

I'ts wet, it's hot, it's sexy, 100/10 would bang

  • 1 point

Thank you, even 3 years old 780s are still rocking badly, overclockable as hell :)

  • 2 points

I have to say, i love the commitment to a single color palette. I am curious where did you get the braided PSU Power Cable from? I have a white/red build and I'd love to use a similar cable. Thanks and a really nice build man.

  • 2 points

Thank you, I made it myself. As I mentioned in earlier comment it was really easy, 2h of work and a lot of fun and prettiness after :)

  • 2 points

Huh, I just might have to give that a try for myself. Any tips before i get started?

  • 2 points

Here is the topic after which I decided to made this power cord, pretty straightforward if you have the tools and the components.

  • 1 point

Thank you so much.. I really am thinking that I am going to try and pull this off for my main build. I think it would look incredible with the rest of my red/white theme

  • 2 points

I'm probably the umpteenth person to say this, but great job on your cable management. I lost a good five seconds of breathing thanks to it.

And great work on the colour scheme of the entire setup. You should be proud of yourself.

  • 1 point

Thank you man, this is how things turn out if you dedicated and do it for yourself :)

  • 1 point

Congrats on the feature, guy. You really deserved it.

  • 2 points

Your rig is SPOT ON! I love the color coordination, it's clean, and well thought out!

I've got the same cooler (Captain 240) and your setup gives me some ideas on how I should go forward with my build. Thanks! (http://pcpartpicker.com/b/dQr7YJ)

A real beaut. Solid color theme and obvious effort to keep everything tied together. And cable management is fantastic. I read in a previous reply you said it wasn't too much work, but what effort you did put in obviously shows and resulted in a near pristine looking setup.

  • 2 points

Geez, I Hope to get to this level soon haha. Clean looking and amazing cable management.

I'm here just cause of the ebay mouse mat. (Been a month waiting on mine.)

All jokes aside +1, nice setup.

  • 1 point

I have a question where do you get those cables?

  • 1 point

All of the cables in my build hand made by me and a guy from our local overclockers forum.

  • 1 point

Awesome build man, where'd you get that fancy braided power cable?

Just a quick question. Is there any space in this case to mount fans under the top cover as I am thinking of a push pull setup on the same AIO? What would you say the overall building was like in this case? Thank you

  • 2 points

Unfortunately there is no space under the cover to fit the fans, but you can do push/pull under the removable bracket. It will cover the half of the internals of the pc, so you will not see the "reactor" cpu block!

Awesome!

question hows the monitor

and sick build

  • 1 point

Thanks :) I love it ! I not care much about TN or IPS, so G-Sync together with 144hz on a TN panel is just good for me. Also, at that time when I bought it there were no IPS high refresh/g-sync monitors. Now it's still pricey so possible its better to get an IPS with same specs.

QUick Question, does that cooler come with a thermal paste?

  • 1 point

Yes, I think every coller shipped with thermal paste pre applied

  • 1 point

Beautiful Build!

I had a quick question because it is hard to tell on a lot of the build using this case. Is your case black? If so, did you paint your back covers black, because they definitely look white in the pictures on newegg/amazon.

  • 1 point

The case is black, yes the covers were white and I painted them black.

  • 1 point

Why not spend an extra 100$ and get the 6700k?

Pretty simple, I don't need an i7 :)

  • 1 point

Hey how's that mobo? Also nice build!

  • 1 point

I'm amazed at how clean everything is btw what are you using to cool the gpu's?

  • 1 point

Hey, first off exceptional build obv! I love the use of the G10 brackets, I am planning a build that will remarkably similar to yours. I have just one gtx980 that I am going to connect a h105 to with the help of the g10. I also have an h90 for my cpu. I am having some trouble deciding on placement in the case (same as yours). I love your build so much, where would you place the rads if you were in my shoes? I also have extra fans so I would love to arrange for push pull on both of them. Do you think that would be possible?

  • 1 point

I love the way you have double water cooled sli GPUs and the red kraken mounts look amazing together. +1000 if I could I love your build. Also the captain 240 is a personal favorite of mine its so pretty and it goes with the setup super well.

  • 1 point

Great build! Found this by looking for builds that used those fans.
