Description

Operation: Snowblind

I started this build in March of 2017 for FPS gaming and video & picture editing. I took inspiration from many other PCPP users with similar white S340 Elite builds. I really went for aesthetics after being disappointed from my tinted Razer H440 build. Purchased a custom GPU magnetic back plate and custom cables from Phanteks.

Edit: I really appreciate the feedback, and please know I have rushed most of the pictures taken and am not able to edit them. I used the cable combs to keep the cables as clean as possible while running them over the GPU. I ran them over the GPU because there wasn't sufficient space in the PSU shroud to run more cables. My next build will be a SFF air cooled Ncase M1 build please keep an eye out for that.

Looks amazing but i feel like the cablemod clips didnt help much XD. Other than that this gives me much inspiration.

its just the angle the OP picked...if the cables were routed down I doubt theyd have this problem, but the look is fairly nice how they come together.

No this is actually how they look. I ordered them and have been very disappointed on how they look. The cables themselves aren't bad, but the cable combs absolutely ruined it for me.

I'm not really sure what you're talking about. I'm saying the cables look bunched because the OP flipped them back over the card not under the card like most people do. The cable combs are clear, I'd bet every single enthusiast build ever uses them, clear is definitely the most popular

I'm sorry! I read it wrong.

Hey no worries man

They are actually Phanteks combs and really cheap. Do you have suggestions on how to keep the GPU power cables tidy? Appreciate it. Thanks!

Knowing from personal experience that cables can be perfectly aligned one second and then a tangled chaotic hell the next, I understand and support your use of cable combs friendo.

Killer finish. So clean. And no doubt, an amazing performer. +1

Thank you, not sure why every is concerned about the cable combs its not too bad. I would have liked to run the power into the shroud it just didn't work out too well. Glad you liked it! Thanks!

I always have a soft spot for white rgb builds. Nice work my friend!

Best of luck!

I like the build, you've got my +1. How did you get the Aer to be actually white? NZXT LEDs are notorious for having a bluish tinge to their white. Is it just the photos, or are they actually pure white?

lhzav submitter 1 Build 1 point 4 days ago

Glad you enjoyed it! The lights are pretty white but I couldn't tell you. There is a small bluish feel but not really noticeable. Thank you.

Mine always have a slight bluish tinge when set to white as well, it's frustrating

No pics of the custom backplate? Come on man!

Looks very nice though, +1

Glad you like it, I'm not the best with a camera but just posted a couple more pictures. Backplate isn't too special. Thanks.
