That's a lot of power for just CS GO...

Can you overclock it with that motherboard?

No i cant. CPU still delivers good performance with 4 Ghz :)

Still trying to find the power. If anything, it's the perfect amount of power for just CS and a couple other games.

for the ssd and gpu there are def better deals you could have gotten like an 860 evo 500gb for that price and also any rx 580

the rx 580 and 1060 6gb are almost the same performance with the 1060 being about 2% better

Thank you for commenting.

I picked up GPU just for the looks, I could say that I built this pc around it.

860 500gb would have been better value overall but from where I am from 860 500gb is 30% more expensive than 970 250gb. So I went for 970 because I don’t want to pay for storage which I would not use. So 970 250 is better value for me

Could this computer run games like PUBG, OW, BO4? I am kinda new and don't really know what things can and can't run.

Hey, i havent played those game with this pc yet. But according others which use same CPU and gpu

High settings 1080p: PUGB 85FPS OW: 130FPS

And BO4 with 1080p and med/high settings 80FPS

take this with a grain of salt because these are only estimated.

Well that was unnecessary. Who cares if his computer is more than capable of playing CSGO. you've gotta be stupid to go degrade someone for showing off the system build they are proud of just cause of the games he plays. But at least you got your 2 cents in, you really showed him didn't you?

i have 144hz monitor. And i dont play just csgo but at the moment it is game which i play. I didnt seek best perform/price ratio. I picked part which would fit nicely together.

When i was choosing part i compared them to my previous PC which was GTX 745 I5 4460S 8gb ddr3 ram

Compared to that, this is pretty solid upgrade from my latest pc which worked already somehow fine. Maybe i would have saved 50usd but that dosnt matter to me because i got what i wanted.

edit: And who would not like over the roof fps just for sake of fps ;)

Well in that case then you made some good choices and like i said, a very solid build. The GTX 1060 6GB is one of the most pupular graphics cards in recent years for PC gamers and especially on steam (for those who participated in the surveys)

I also play CSGO on an overpowered PC but i intend to get a proper Gsync 144hz monitor when i have the money as most of my stuff is used.

He was just using CS:GO as his system benchmark.

Oh shut your trap. Have you seen your current build? Eck. So many kids on PCPP judging other people's financial decisions.

Yeah i see my build every day since it sits on my desk next to me.

Then you would know what stupid looks like. Why bash on someone's build decision(s) if yours could use work?

Well my PC was on a very tight budget to begin with so for what ive spent over the past 2 years i think has been quite reasonable and not "what stupid looks like". The only thing i think my build is poor on is the storage since i overspent that to get it built on the day everything else arrived.

I also would like to clarify that most of the people who replied to this comment i made are right. I was a bit rude calling the submitter stupid so much, but unfortunately everyone forgets that i actually do like this build, as well and i also wrote a positive comment which people also want to down-vote.

If you want to act like an arse like everyone else that's fine but don't bash me for saying that my comment was bad criticism when you then have a go at me doing the exact same thing,

So, because you said something nice about his build justifies you calling a person stupid?

You're a child. Grow up.

Otherwise, its a solid build that should last you quite some time, even with RTX coming out and Ryzen being basically the best choice now for budget systems with price 2 performance always being sought after in hardware.

RTX is already out.
