Description

I built this computer in November 2016, this is absolutely my first "decent" build ever, i never bothered with led, cable management or aesthetics.

I keep updating it everytime i have the chance.

Part Reviews

CPU Cooler

Does its job but the fans started making strange noises after a couple months. RMA'd em and waited 3 weeks for the delivery of the new ones... bought another couple of fans in the meantime. The temps are ok but honestly just because of the fans I wish i went for another brand.

Motherboard

Good looks, AWESOME bios interface, easy to overclock. I just wish it had a couple more USB ports in the back.

Memory

Good performance and good look. Only disappointment is that you can't save the led settings without keeping the Corsair software on startup.

Case

There is JUST enough space for cable management and the window panel scratches easily, but overall is good looking and all the dust filters help keeping the inside clean.

Case Fan

Very good performance and looks, but a little more noisy than Corsair and not cheap.

Case Accessory

Had to update the firmware of the one i received and since that i had no problems.

Monitor

this is the best monitor ever!

Monitor

"cheap" monitor to pair as secondary with a PG279Q. Does the job!

Headphones

Good looking, good sound, no problems at all for the moment.

Nice Build, What do you think about the Asus PB277Q ?

Hello! It's a good one to be honest. The colors are better than what I expected. If you consider it as main monitor, you could consider aswell the PB278Q (Same but IPS panel), sadly i haven't found it on Italy.

Hello. Not at all! Honestly it does feel lighter than the Kraken 7.1 i had before. They look BIG tho :D

Also do you advise me gettting them and wireless or wired and also is the top bit rly flimsy?

I have the wireless edition. The sound quality is WAY better than the Kraken 7.1 i had before, the charge lasts indeed between 14 and 20 hours (depending if you keep the led turned on or not), i can walk around, move into another room and there is absolutely no lag or interference. I have the "second generation" (with the reinforced top), it doesn't feel weak at all, but i admit i never tried to push, pull or strech it :D
