Description

This is my first ever build and i love it so far there is still a few things that i need like the CPU cooler the second graphics card and the ram but i thought i would just post it anyway.

I am 12 years old and I used to use a terrible computer to game on so with 1 year of birthday money,Christmas money and A LOT of chores i have finally built my dream machine

So for the first part the processor i have the AMD fx 6300 6 logical core processor since i don't do a lot of multitasking and work and i'm on a budget i decided to go with AMD this is all i need for gaming once i get the CPU cooler i will overclock for now i'm stuck with the stock one.

For the motherboard I chose the MSI 970 A SLI Krait Edition Motherboard I chose this because it provides plenty of upgrading room for latter and has all the bells and whistle's including USB 3.1 also it was a very good price.

For the Memory I have 8GB of Kingston HyperX Fury ram this is all i need for gaming definitely planning on upgrading to 16 for future though

For now all I have is a Samsung 850 evo ssd for boot drive and games but i am planing on getting the 2tb hdd for mass

Now for the only thing i got for Christmas LOL yes this was all i got for Christmas its the Msi Geforce Gtx 960 OC 4gb this is the pride and joy of my build and i have had no games that i have had to turn settings down on and i cant wait to get the second one AND YES I KNOW I SHOULD JUST SAVE FOR A 980 OR 970.

The power supply i the EVGA supernova 850w yes its overkill but....

And the case is the NZXT Phantom 530 White its big holds everything has good cable management and looks awesome

The fans are self explanatory there white efficient and quiet

Still getting the monitors 2nd GPU and moniters

UPDATE: today celebrates the 1 month birthday of my pc and my 13th birthday I would like to say thanks for all the support and feedback the pc part picker community is truly amazing so the point is this rig after a month of use is all I ever needed and couldn't be better for a person like me, if you could see the store bought hp pavilion I used to use this is a dream come true I have yet to turn down any settings in any games like bo3 gta5 Kerbal space program are my usual games. So I have had my birthday and got the corsair m65 rgb and it is awesome and I will get my strafe rgb keyboard tommorow as of the 30th of March and also I will be doing second 960 down the road on the to do agenda I will be getting hdd and 8 more gigs of ram soon so when I get keyboard tommorow I will update pictures, that's it thanks for all the support

Eh. If you have one and then decide to get another down the line then sure. If you plan on getting 2 at the same time then it's dumb.

Seen that card go for $165, at that price it's not dumb at all!

For all the people saying (should have gotten a 970) I have seen that card go for $165 or $145 with a mail in rebate, if he gets them for cheap its worth it

I would have saved some money on the case and would have left the led fans away. yous pent like 90$ on fans and went with a 120$ case. It would have been better to go with a cheaper case (like the NZXT S340) and gotten a better CPU cooler. you still would have had money left over wich i would have invested in a gtx 970 or an r9 390 instead of a gtx 960...

Why 2 monitors ? if you bought just one and got rid of the gtx 960s you could have got a 980

I was also planning on getting a Corsair K70 RGB M65 mouse and the void wireless headseat for my birthday

Hey, nice build. Especially since you have had to scrape and work for it. SLI those 960s and if it doesn't work for you, wait and upgrade later. Or just save for the 980ti. Upgrading and working on your PC is part of the fun. You don't have to justify your purchases. Nice build. Keep us updated!

Yes I know but as I said I am on a budget and this actually never hits 100% usage all I do Is game on these machine and some requirements are a high end I5 or AMD equivalents and this is considered one of the equivalents
