Description

This was a fun build. Will upgrade to a 1080 GPU next month and some custom cables!

The fans are from Jonsbo and have LED rings around them. They're getting swapped out with Silent Wings 3 next month. Currently equipped with Phanteks Halos but the fan LED's sort of out shine the effect.

The cooler is also a Jonsbo CR 201 cooler. Fantastic heavy thing. Comes with LED on its temepered side glass and that fan is also LED. Gonna swap out the fan for a slim 120mm and equip and Phanteks Halo on it!

Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for stopping by.

Part Reviews

CPU

Overclock to 3.7 @ 1.25v through bios. Meets all my needs as a photographer. Super cool.

Motherboard

I like the aesthetics, wish it had a little more options for RGB but that's my personal preference.

Memory

3200 rated but unfortunately can only run @2933 through XMP 2.0 on Ryzen

Storage

Fast boot drive, doesn't go over 34c.

Storage

Awesome form factor! Added a heatsink and stays under 39c while in use.

Video Card

Undervolt it and add 50% power limit and you get a stable 1300 clock boost.

Case

Awesome case! Awesome airflow. Awesome looking. Get it.

Mouse

Great for claw grip users. Got me to plat on rainbow six siege over my other mouse. No /s

What are the temps like with it?

AMAZING! I had a lumi h7? i believe is called before but this thing brought the temps down a further 4c. that's great in my books. It's huge though, and heavy. Felt like it would break off my motherboard.

I have a MSI motherboard and the Cosair DDR4-3000 Memory. I thought I could only run it at 2933. I had to go into the BIOS and manually set it to 3000.

I have the same case also. Love your build.

Hey im looking to build a pc with the same case. Were you able to remove the pre installed fans and replace them with your own, and how many of your own case fans can fit. Thank you, hope to hear back! Awesome build btw.

hey dude, apologies for the late reply. You are able to remove the fans and use your own. This case came with 2 of them and I moved them to the front, and can have a total of 6 fans!

Great build +1, but you should change your boot drive to the m.2 instead of the sata for the extra like 4-7 seconds. That is if I read your reviews right and your boot drive is the sata ssd

Would it really make much of a difference? It is still a sata m.2. Maybe if it was NVMe.

It only makes a very slight difference but you might as well get as much performance as possible even down to milliseconds imo

Good point. It's also nice just having it on the motherboard rather than having a cable.

If you look right underneath the GPU, to the right almost at the bottom you'll see an m.2 sized black heatsink with a little bit of thermal pad sticking to the right
