So this is my first ever build so I decided to go with something that will last me a long while. I wanted a PC that could run all of my games while also being able to run most everything else, like other types of programs that are not games. I was upgrading from a 5 year old laptop that was a cheap buy back then so this is really quite the upgrade. My old laptop would struggle to run CS:GO on low settings which is quite pitiful.
So I spent quite a great many hours doing my research like any other first time build. The build overall went rather smoothly and everything worked on the first try. I had a small problem with the anti surge protector from ASUS that prevented me from booting up but when I would reset my pc the surge protector did not kick in so it has not done anything since (not really sure if I should be worried about this). There was also a small problem with the RAM after a couple of boots but I just took them out and put them back in and they were all good.
Great CPU. No problems but I have only mostly been gaming.
Works great but the reason I took away 2 stars was because I had problems getting the mounting screws in through my mobo. There were some grooves in the screw that made it unable to go smoothly through but it seems like it was a problem that only I had. I ended up having to wiggle the screws in the front while I pushed it in from behind and they eventually popped through.
Great board with no problems. It looks amazing and it fits the black and white color scheme going for it so I really do like this board.
Looks nice and does its job. No problems.
Amazingly fast storage. My OS is so snappy I love it. HIGHLY recommend buying this. Well worth the money.
Good bulk storage for the money.
Absolutely love it. The performance of this card is insane and I think that it will serve me good for a very long time. The AURA lighting is also gorgeous and only adds to my RGB spectacle. This card easily pushes over 100 fps on any game on ultra setting at 1080p.
Gorgeous case and easy to build in.
Good for the money (I got it for $30 with a rebate). If you are looking for something better though I'd recommend spending in the $80 range to get yourself a quality psu.
Got it for $180 at Best Buy so the performance is amazing for the money. The 1ms response time and the 144Hz refresh rate are clutch and are what makes the monitor so good.
Gorgeous RGB lighting effects. I personally do not really care about my keyboard switches so I was not really in the market for a mechanical keyboard. This is a really nice keyboard for the price if you are like me but if not then I wouldn't really recommend it. I personally love it however.
Edit: About one year later now, and I have to drop this review by a couple stars. The keycaps are relatively loose which can get annoying and the plastic is not the best quality, but I guess you get what you pay for. The mecha membrane switches are not as good as I had previously thought them to be but I guess me PC building naivety made me think that they were good. The big-time plus is that the lighting is absolutely gorgeous. Razer does that very well. If you are looking for a sub 100 dollar keyboard then this is a good option, but if you have more money, I recommend that you change to something like a Corsair K70 like I did.
Great product with great lighting. Perfect
