Finished my initial build with a shiny new GTX 970, all ready for the Witcher 3. Has little trouble so far playing everything I've wanted it to at 1080p 60 fps, and getting a pretty good firestrike score somewhere over 10000. Really enjoying this, as it's my first really high end gaming computer. some gameplay footage here -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtyub0EafNk , and will put a few pics up. I also use Adobe products on it, and am learning 3D sculpting, so the i7 processor helps out. also, here's my Firestrike score http://www.3dmark.com/fs/4609692
Edit: Did new case art, and added in a nice new corsair H100i GTX!
Edit 2: Added in a samsung evo 850 SSD 500gb to my rig. absolutely love it. lot's of people asked why I didn't include an ssd in the first place, and while I don't think it was essential to my pc starting out it is a nice upgrade!
Edit 3: sold my 970 to a friend of mine and snagged a 980ti. only cost me 400 when you account for the 250 I made off the 970, and it brought the price of his build within his budget. also bought his old monitor off him ( since he got a huge tv he's now using as a monitor for his birthday ) and got a third monitor for christmas. there all 1080p, which would be overkill to have a 980ti for, but at 5760x1080p it pushes the card pretty well. still play the witcher 3 and a few other games with 1 screen though.
