Description

This is a re-post since i followed suggestions and cleaned it up.

SO ill explain the parts i used and why.

  • Core i5 3570k: Runs like a champ, very popular for OC didnt go for hashwell since they tend to OC a bit poorly and my mobo has a bad power phase. I don't intend hardcore OC. I came from a 4 years old laptop and the difference is just to high. (stable OC at 4.2 GHz max temp 68· and VCORE of 1.320

  • Zalman CNPS 9900 MAx: Chose it because i got a discount and got it for 30$, i was planning on using the 212 evo but it has become to generic, every build use the evo, and i cant compare them but i guess and evo is still better since i only got 4.2Ghz

  • Asrock z77 extreme 4 - m : Chose it because it is Micro ATX build. and since extreme 4 has become very popular.

  • Corsair vengeance 16gb.: I chose this amount of RAM because i do a lot of photo editing and it never hurts having more, i even plan on upgrading to 32 gb i know is overkill, but it never hurts..

  • Samsung 840pro SDD for the OC and main programs.

  • Seagate barracuda 1tb: AS the storage disk.

  • Radeon 7870: I chose this because i was on a budget and after lots of tough i considered this to be the range i need.

  • NZXT VUkcan: Micro ATX i love the looks (some ppl dont). Makes my build unique not like the thousands of NZXT phantom users... since is a Micro ATX space was a concern and since is my first build you can see a sloppy cable management. I did the best i could and i believe that its good enough. I hate the 8 pin cable was to short to route it behind.

  • Power supply: 600w since i don't intend to crossfire. /sli.

i expended in all the parts about 850$.

Also i got and nzxt HUE witch is the PC RGB case lightning you can see in the pics.

edit : ( I managed a bit better the cables hope it looks ok)

You got the CPU power cable behind the motherboard. =D

Nice. Looks much cleaner now.

That fan is so close to your GPU.

No fan at the back of the case? Do you have an exhaust fan on top, maybe?

Thanx. Your builds are awesome. I'm happy with it however my moba isn't that good for OC. So I stopped at 4.0Ghz cause of vcore.

That's an amazing looking CPU fan. How much clearance did u get to the side of the case? I opted for the 200mm side case fan hoping to invest in a small form factor CPU fan later (stock for now), but looking at this I'm starting to regret my choice.
