Welcome to the second iteration of this build. Most of these are just my reasoning for the parts I bought.
Preface: Don't bully me for putting the RAM in single channel mode. I have my reasons for this.
Might water cool the whole thing one day with an A240 and a GPU block but I don't know.
Ryzen's whole "enhance core count" is cool so yea.
Seems GPU prices have returned to normal. Yay. A 980 Ti has deprecated to ~$270-$330-ish. Well worth it for the performance.
Motherboard was bought for $189 off newegg. Quite the looker with quite the features.
One of the sticks of RAM was bought off eBay for $10 and the other was bought because it matched. Have them both overclocked to 2666 MHz. I had a 2800 OC but that caused a lot of instability.
SSD and HDD are really nothing special. They store things, nothing really to say.
The P350X really is an amazing case for its price point. The tempered glass was the main driving force in getting it and the RGB accents were a nice cherry on top.
PSU was gifted to me.
Benchmarking:(i can do links right?) https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/13170694
Was able to get a 1723 in cinebench.
Main problem was moving the motherboard between cases with the cooler still attached. I could not take it off because I had run out of thermal paste and didn't want to wait a couple days while it shipped. Would have been nice to do a complete disassembly though.
