Description

This is my first pc build since 2005. By comparison my phone has better hardwear then that pc. Ive wanted to get back into pc gaming after being completely disappointed by console gaming. I think this will be a great restart into pc gaming. In the next few weeks it will be upgraded to water cooling for the cpu. Thank for checking out my return to pc gaming.

Update: I've upgraded the CPU to the fx8350 set to 4.5GHz overclock. Not a major upgrade but I have noticed a difference in some games.

Update 2.0: upgraded the CPU cooler to the H100i and the GPU to the MSI RX 480 gaming X 8gb. As far as the graphics go. It's about an 11% performance increase while cutting the power consumption an half compared to the two r9 270 in crossfire. If you have any of the amd 200 series, upgrading to the 400 of 500 series is truly worth the upgrade. With the new water cooler the system is staying much cooler and holding temp longer.

How's the crossfire working out? I've got an FX-6300 build with one R9 270x, but I'm not sure if the crossfire would be worth it.

To be honest it looks great, but if I could go back in time I would save up more money and get the R9 380.

It works great. But to be honest I wish I had saved the money and bought and R9 380. I do 4K gaming its just doesn't have enough vram to run most games at that res.
