Description

This is a reboot of my previous famous PC build #BigRed

Transported the PC parts into a new case along with a few upgrades. My cleanest build by far.

any reason you particularly went from the h440 to the s340?

  • 1 point

Cleaner, more airflow, smaller.

really better air flow with the less air space in the s340? i didnt know

  • 2 points

Yup. The h440 has foams and it's more for silent builds. s340 has exhaust on top with more openings in the rear and front for better air flow. I get much cooler temps

Wow, great build. Looks great. Why are your SSD's so scratched!?

Did you do exhaust on the front and intake on the back?

  • 1 point

Yes, due to the radiator positioning, I had to go with that config

  • 1 point

Gotcha, that threw me off for a second. I have the same case, cooler, and now the same fans but you can't see the nice side of the fans on my cooler since I have them as intakes :/

I know this sounds funny, but you could do a red tiger scratch on the cooler with hydradip, I am working a idea for a build using hydradiping, easy and you can add a lot of cool features.

Didn't Linus say the s340 wasn't suited for sli builds? If the airflow is good I'll put my 2 970's in the blue/black version (it looks ssexyyyyyyyyy)

  • 1 point

Not sure y he would say that. I get cooler temps in this case than the h440

I know it would be a bunch of work, but fixing that slight GPU sag would make this build look 100x better, at least in my eyes. Other than that its a beautiful piece of machinery +1

airflow is coming in the back, not the front. Please help me understand. I am Confused.

Is it ware cooled

Dude, this is awesome. The build, the pictures, both sexy. Great job!

I am wondering why your airflow is from the back to the front, I just noticed this in your pictures, wouldn't it be better for your water cooler to have a push, instead of a pull, and air flow from front of your case to the rear and top. This makes more sense to me, but your the builder maybe you could shed some light on it for me.

Anyone else ever wondered why company's dont make motherboards and GPUs so that you can see the fan part? I think that would look a lot better.

Thanks for the awesome feedback.

1) the video is unlisted and you guys get a sneak peak before it goes live on my channel on Tuesday.

2) I love the S340, imo it's way better than the H440 for many reasons: •Airflow •Compact •Aestethics •Quality •Cable Management

The build quality is not flimsy at all, i would say it has the same build as the H440, aluminum with plastic covers. I also love how big the side window is, everything about this case just screams amazing!
