This is my second desktop but first one that i actually build it by myself. The purpose of the build is casual gaming, internet browsing and for fun. This build may not the best performance at the cost but I get it for the look.
At first, I was thinking to get Ryzen 1700, but i just could not wait for another 1 or 2 month until the available of the motherboard and stability of software.
Rated 4 stars because its good gaming performance and a easy overclocker, its easy to hit 4.9 without touching the cpu voltage. however i din try 5ghz, i like to leave some room for safety and durability. Deduct 1 star cause of the price.
good looking and performance, no complain on this.
At beginning I was getting Asus hero because the Asus graphic card, however asus hero is not available at centrecom, so i got this instead.
I came across few problem in this board, the bios setting is weird plus there is a input lag in the bios. there is few thing in the bios that i changed to get all system work, Legacy to Uefi, primary display set to pcie (my graphic card), and enable internal display driver.
without the changes in the bios, sometime my pc cant boot, intel display driver not activated in the windows cause some game does not work.
and there is a bug or glitch in the motherboard rgb, in rainbow color mode, it suppose change color smoothly, but sometime the color just repeatedly reset and change to red color, its like smoothly changing color and suddenly reset into red color and start over again.
3 star because this board is good value board, but with few small problem.
working fine, no trouble, good looking but buggy software to control its led.
bought this 3 year ago, good performance at that time, but expansive and boring software.
good performance and value, 5 year warranty is a must for me.
good looking, performance and low temperature. 65 degree at max load
this is the only case I am happy to get at the moment, simple yet good looking case, easy to do cable management.
the only complain is the roof in the case is too low, when i put fan on top, it cover my motherboard, i get a good looking board i don wan it cover by anything, so i install my rad in the front. Another problem occur, the mounting is kinda weird, the top hole does not line properly with my radiator screw, so i have to put my rad downward , but i need to remove the HDD shroud and the piece of steel plate, thus u could see a hole in my case.
Wireless Network Adapter
the newer driver give me bluescreen when torrenting, i only can use the first driver.
so far ok with the oldest driver, good range and no disconnection.
