Description

Use for 3D & VFX R&D, GPU(redshift) render, CPU(Arnold) render, Houdini sim, and else, Occasionally gaming too. Not an exact workstation build but an upgrade from my dual Xeon E5 2670 GTX 1060 Build.

I was fortunate to get the EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti FTW3 Ultra Hybrid Gaming from amazon.ca at $1173 thx to Reddit /r/bapcsalescanada/ for the fantastic deal information! The temperature is around 60c at full load redshift render and it's quite.

This is my first PC Build using RGB lighting. Choose to use a Funko Dalek as inspiration. Orange and Bule split-tone and the NZXT circle pump represent the Dalek's eye well.

I hope you guys like this build.

I love this build! Mainly for the dalek theme but also because you made good use of the sales subreddit to build it. r/buildapcsales is possibly the greatest place on the internet. If you haven't seen it yet, check out r/hardwareswap as well, but be warned you WILL be tempted to buy things you don't need.

Reminds me of an Ice/Water V.S. Fire theme. Amazing. Have fun with it +1

How did you mount the GPU like that? - Newbie

Vertical GPU mount. You can find those on amazon. The one I use is Lian Li O11D-1X for PC-O11D Case.
