Description
After almost five years with my previous i5-4670K build, I decided to dive into the world of RGB with a completely new system. After weeks of meticulously picking parts highly focused on aesthetics and utility, this is the build I've chosen to go with. This is my UserBenchmark at stock frequencies (XMP enabled).
Benchmark results after CPU overclocking:
I have managed to get a stable overclock of my CPU at 5GHz with a voltage of 1.38V and an AVX offset of 1. Highest temperature hit on one of the cores during a 30 minutes 1334K FFT Prime95 non-AVX stress test was 77o C and 62o C during a 5 hour AIDA64 CPU stability test. The radiator fans and the pump were (loudly) running at 100% (1838 RPM and 2736 RPM respectively) during all tests.

Edits: (01/25/19): Changed the G.Skill Trident Z to Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro and added a Samsung 970 PRO M.2 NVMe drive. Last picture depicts the upgraded build.
Part Reviews
CPU
The i5-9600K is a great overclockable CPU that will satisfy my needs at a reasonable price. My overclock frequency and profile is shown in the build's description.
CPU Cooler
With aesthetics being one of my top priorities, the NZXT Kraken was the best looking AIO Liquid Cooler. The ring and infinite mirror design definitely caught my attention. With a price difference of approximately $10~$20, the X62 (280mm) was my choice over the X52 (240mm).
Motherboard
Great value motherboard with very good overclocking capabilities. Plenty of LEDs to make your build shine.
Memory
Replaced the previous G.Skill Trident Z that I had in my build by these. Both the RGB Fusion and G.Skill Trident Z software did not detect my memory, making me unable to change the colors of the LED. The iCUE program is considerably better, allowing me to adjust each individual LEDs! Look great.
Storage
With the prices of M.2 NVMe SSDs going down, I decided to purchase a 970 Pro stick due do their incredibly fast read/write speeds. Using it as my boot drive and most used programs.
Storage
With the dropping price of SSDs, this pickup was a direct upgrade from a previous Samsung 840 120 GB SSD. The additional storage is extremely useful since games are starting to take up a lot of storage space.
Storage
Hard drive from my previous build used to store files and videos. Would prefer a larger capacity, which was much more limited four years ago.
Video Card
The huge discount from Boxing Day allowed me to upgrade my previous GTX 760 to this GTX 1070. Very good value card with RGB accents.
Case
Very good looking tempered glass case with nice airflow. Plenty of cable management space in the back panel making it very easy to build in.
Power Supply
With a huge discount from Boxing Day, this pickup was a no-brainer. A fully modular 750W Gold Certified PSU for $60? Count me in.
Case Fan
These fans look fantastic and provide great airflow to my build. The price justifies the aesthetical upgrade to your build. The iCUE software also allows limitless customization. Trust me when I say that they look even better in person.
Keyboard
Bought the prebuilt Gateron Brown version with black keycaps during a sale. Beautiful RGB backlit keys with the ability to easily switch out your switches.
Mouse
My go-to mouse that I've been using for the better part of last decade. Previous ones have failed after several years of usage, but they feel great.
Headphones
Decided to go wireless on my headset and picked these up since they had good reviews-and for good reason. They are very comfortable with great sound for wireless headsets and have long lasting batteries.
