Kick back gaming build.

Part Reviews

Pretty beast, good value for 6C/12T. OC'd mine to 3.75 GHz stable on 1.2375 V.

Solid lowkey motherboard. Has some neat lights. Good overclocker in both CPU and RAM.

Managed to get the full 3200 MHz out of this bad boy. A-XMP profile 2.

Video Card

Good price for a GTX 1080. Fans don't spin unless it reaches ~50 degrees celsius. Wish the fan LEDs could change colour though.

Really good airflow. Easy to work with. Good cable management.

Power Supply

Solid power supply. Noise levels are low and modular.

Wireless Network Adapter

Way faster than my old one.

Case Fan

Nice LEDs. Not too loud.

Looks mad. Crazy high refresh rate of 180 Hz. G-Sync offers a new phenomenal gaming experience.

Does the Ryzen 5 1600 bottleneck GTX 1080 at 1080p?

At stock speed, I'm not too sure (haven't tested) but my guess is no. OC'd at 3.8+ GHz, I experience no bottleneck. I cap my games at 180 FPS tho as my monitors max refresh rate is 180 Hz.

Yeah, I hit a hard wall at 3.8 GHz. Its my first build and my first time OCing so i was a bit worried. But I guess my chip is just average. 3.85 GHz does me fine and after some stress testing on aida64, max temps were ~76. But on 3.9 GHz i was reaching as high as 85 celsius and wasnt too comfortable with that. I decided to keep my voltage lower than 1.3 V as I'm just a novice builder and dont want to break anything lol.
