Description

Used for very casual gaming, some game recording & streaming.

*Didn't quite match the silver on 580 with the silver on the MB details but its close enough so I'm not really in the mood of redoing it. Note to self: you can't judge the color of spraypaint online, you need to test it. Used 5-6 coats and it turned out alright.

*GPU power cables touch the glass a bit to much for my liking when routing it around the bottom fan but the glass is only flexing a mil or two so have to be like that for now, wil reroute gpu power later. Would probably not have this issue if the cable extensions where a high quality expensive one.

Overall very happy with it, turned out as i wanted and works like a charm.

Part Reviews

CPU Cooler

Easy to install, looks gorgeous, corsair have mirrored logos on each side so regardless of orientation its the right way up. -1 star for not having a 4 pin pump connector.

Case

The case itself looks good & feels good but if i had to redo the machine i would use an ITX motherboard so i can access more cable holes. The side panel mounting is absolutely trash since you have to physically hold the glass panel on while screwing the screws in. Would have been much better if you could secure the panel on pegs for example and then scew it on. Also if your using cable extensions it might be a bit cramped in the back compartment if you have both the 3.5 and 2.5 cages installed.

Really like the case, but perhaps wouldn't recommend it.

My man, is that some fake ram I see

I used two fake sticks in my girlfriend's build as well haha. I'm happy Corsair made these because filling all of the slots definitely looks better. The price is a bit high for a purely cosmetic component, though.

It looks so good. I wanted to do something very similar, but it was going to drive me crazy that there is no rear fan mount for my future hybrid card.

Thanks a lot :)

Yeah me to actually. Intention was to use my evga hybrid but yeah..no space in the back. Oversight imo, case is already super wide. A few cm more wouldn't have made any difference.

Great looking build and great work with your cables! Could you take a step back and upload another picture? I'd love to see more of the case itself.

What did you use to paint your parts? Also, I was thinking of also painting my build how should I do it. I wanted to do a white build like this. It is probs one of the best mid-budget white build I have ever seen. Also can you please send me a pc part picker link to the case fans you used.

Plastidip (it's basically rubber in spray form so it can be removed easily again). Only the GPU is painted :)

Thank you for those kind words :)

I used x4 of corsairs LL fans, so 1 3 pack and 1 standalone https://pcpartpicker.com/product/ydRzK8/corsair-ll120-rgb-white-with-lighting-node-pro-63-cfm-120mm-fans-co-9050092-ww

Question: Can you control the fans pump/fan speed on the AIO?

Should be doable in Corsair link. Haven't fiddled with it though

Is it quiet?

  • 2 points

I wouldn't say it's quiet or loud. It's noticeable for sure when all 10 fans in the case ramp up

Love the build, you said you wouldn't recommend the case. If you could redo the build in a different case what case would it be??

Love the build man, and love the white/silver color theme. What motherboard would you recommend if you redid the build?

If I redid it as an matx build I would use the same one, decent vrms :)

How did you manage the two fans in the bottom, I have a similar build and I'm having issues with the case USB 3 header. The plug for the USB 2 header seems to interfere with fan placement. You don't seem to be having this issue in your photos, how tho?

Probably just didn't plug it in. Never use front io :) or bent it to hell.
