Description

This my November 2018 Build and its my first custom water loop. I've tweaked my 8700k for best temperatures @5GHz.

8700k 5GHz @1,35V with AiO: 85°C Prime (used der8auer Tutorial)
8700k 5GHz @1,35V with AiO delidded: 65°C Prime
8700k 5GHz @1,26V with AiO delidded: 60°C Prime (undervolted)
8700k 5GHz @1,26V with Custom Water Loop delidded: 50°C Prime

So -35°C with same performance is pretty neat i think :D

GTX 2080 in combination with the 8700k is great for 1440p gaming with max graphic settings. (Battlefield V 1440p Ultra Preset 120fps in average)

The Desk is selfmade... 220mm x 60mm tabletop with 2x IKEA ALEX

Now im waiting for EK Water Blocks GPU Block.

Nice clean build! Love the case and bends. Ill use this O11 case next build (present to myself for xmas) You have a really good chip there mate! My 4.9GHz profile is running at 1.27v and at 75c and BSOD at 1.30v for 5GHz. Want to swap chips lol.

Thanks man! Silicon lottery ;) my mate has same cpu and needs 1.33V for 5Ghz. Have you tried delidding it? Gave me -20°C under load!

You will have fun with this case!

Mines at 5GHZ at max 78c when gaming on load sometimes it gets to 80c and its on 1.34V so yeah silicon lottery and its not delidded.

was it difficult to make the hard tubes???

I wouldnt say its difficult but its very time consuming. Especially for the first bends. Took me about 6-8 hours because i put a lot of effort into clean bends.

Are those modflex cables for your GPU? Gonna build an O11-D build with Gaming X Trio 2080 Ti and modmesh cables and am worried they are too stiff and I'm not gonna be able to close the glass side panel.

These are the Corsair ones from the PSU.

Hey, i know im late to the Comments, but i have a question. :) How strong do the two Res Holders hold the whole thing? My problem is, that i want to use a combo, but my GPU is a little too long, so i can't mount it to the bottom side fan or on the bottom itself. I'm thinking about using those holders to move the res more to the front of the case. This should avoid spacing problems. But i'm not sure, wether the Combo is too heavy or not... Maybe you or sb else can help me.

Greetings to all!

The holders im using are holding it very good. Its even hard to remove the Res.

Hi,

Any issues with the performance of this build so far ? does it run smooth without blue screens etc ..

Yes still stable performance, no bluescreens etc. But recently i got some "temperature issues". My idle temp went from 21°C to 40°C. I have to renew the liquidmetal on my delidded CPU. Maybe its because we have really high temperatures at the moment in germany.

Furthermore i want to watercool my GPU aswell, so my overall temperature in the case will fall down aswell. I will update this build when its done. Guess it will be in August / September 2019.
