Description

So....this is my 1st PC and my first PC build that i have ever owned / built. I've always owned a mac. I built this because I want to get into PC gaming, streaming and video editing. When I started pricing everything out I had around a 2k price in my head and that went completely out the door once I started pricing thing out. I knew I wanted to do a custom loop from the beginning because I really liked the way they look (whether I needed it or not). I started by looking for a case and finally decided to go with the core P3 because it's an open air case and I liked that I could wall mount it. After that I looked at a lot of mother boards and I went with one that was mid price point to save a lil bit off the top while still getting the features I wanted. Next I went with a 1080 ti card to match the MB (of course). I also picked up the EVGA cable kit (in white, of course) The rest was just what ever I liked the looks of and tried to stay in the mid price point too.

I already had the two Asus 1080 monitors so I knew that I needed at least one 2k to go with what the graphics card could produce. I finally decided to go with the Dell S2716DG because it was g-sync and a hell of a lot cheaper than any other g-sync out there (yes I know its a TN). I love this thing too and don't care that its not an ips. I plan on getting two more 2k monitors to replace my 2 Asus ones.

All the peripherals I went with whatever felt good to the touch. The Astro's I already had from my xbox. I have a set of Kanto YU2 speakers (that i love) for all my listening preferences.

Now for the custom loop i went with parts that i thought would complement the rest of my build (ie: white radiator to match the white case).I used the EK mono-block for the cpu and motherboard cooling. The bends I used the Thermaltake 16mm hard tube bending kit and everything turned out just how I wanted it too(for the most part, being a perfectionist there's a couple that aren't perfect). I just added the EK water block for my gpu and I plan on lighting it up too.

I love my build especially for it being my first. I've overclocked my CPU to 4.8 (thru the bios). I know i can go higher on the CPU but I'm still learning how to do these things.

I am also going to do back lighting behind all the monitors as well as behind the case on the wall.

The parts list is everything that I had and that I bought. I tried to include everything down to the little add on's.

I have this case, and here's a tip: to keep your I/O shield in place, find spots on the rear I/O panel without a port on them. Cut some double-sided 3M tape to fit those spaces, and then put the tape on your I/O shield. and it sticks!

Do you think you'd could get 2 strix 1080ti's in that case? And I love your cable management I hate cAbles haha

Yes I think you can just make sure you buy a long enough pci extension cables for them or you can mount them horizontally and be fine too.

Wow! Certainly is impressive. I love how you mounted it on the wall-always show off you're PC when it's a beast. I just love everything with your build, though I would've gone with red & black. Nice job with the color scheme!

Thnx. I went with black and white cuz it went with the rest of my room and I can change the leds to any color down the road I want.

Good to find another person who took the dive right into custom water cooling for their first build! Fantastic job on the loop!
