Build

My new computer which i have not yet given a name.

by Kaziolol

Description

Hello Everyone, i decided to build a new computer and here it is! the building process was great and almost without any issues,

The only problem i encountered was the angled sata cable to the SSD, i can't mount it straight now it's a bit tilted up, i have ordered a straight sata cable so this will be fixed in about .

The other computer is my brothers one, they're almost identical :)

Part Reviews

CPU

Great Cpu, overclocks great and the wraith spire cooling is surprisingly good!

Motherboard

Amazing motherboard, definitely recommend it for everyone, all the connections are at the great places, breeze to build with.

Memory

It's ram, nothing special about it. got it running at 3200mhz stable, overclocked it with the XMP profile.

Storage

It's quick, it's good looking.

Video Card

Awesome card and good looking, it's way more then what i need but i had some money left so why not :)

Power Supply

It works, and it's definitely quiet, but the Angled sata cables are absolutely horrible.

Nice and simple, clean build!

-That wine glass on top of your case scares me, one tip into that fan on top...

Why tf would you not get a motherboard with a LED header for that cpu cooler. You have commited a sin in the pc world and now you must pay for your misdeeds.........lmao jk love the 1600 and 1080 combo, its differant and i like it. +1

Oh, didnt know they made led and non led ones.

The Cooler that comes with the 1700 is a LED version. They are both the same cooler but one is LED and the other isn't!

Nice build! I'm thinking of doing about the same config just changing a few brands here and there. I like that glass of wine in the last picture! You for sure need one after putting together a computer!

Why did you pay so much for a 1080, with that money you could buy a 1080ti with 50 dollars extra, just saying

Kaziolol submitter 1 Build 1 point 22 months ago

Hi! i don't know how often you are on here, but how close is the GPU to the side of the case? is there a good amount of room for the 6 and 8 pin power connectors or is it a really tight fit?

Kaziolol submitter 1 Build 2 points 7 months ago

Hey there, sorry for the late response, only check on this site for like twice a month,

It fits perfectly, the cable touches the case a little bit, but nothing to worry.

For the $730 u put for the 1080 u could have gotten a 1080ti. I would recommend returning it and getting a 1080ti.
