Description

Got the germ from a friend after playing battlefront and dark souls on a PC.

Basically this is a fast build without much knowledge. Most of it from here and there.Friends, some videos and a lot of questions.. Took me 5 months to build. No hurries. All the games are running extra smooth at 2k,but 4k is another thing. From ultra to high settings here and there most of the new games run at 50 to 60 fps. With a 4k monitor is a really good experience.

The problems with this build is the aura program for the motherboard effects. Never, ever has the rgb worked. The keyboard and mouse, especially the keyboard, loses all settings all the time.USB out,in and working fine. Despite the nzxt rgb bad reviews for their software i don't have any problem whats so ever.

Until now no serious overclocking because of the use, it is not worth it(my opinion). To be honest the CPU is really frustrating. From one moment to another its becoming crazy like 28 celcious to 58 for half an hour on idle. The watercooler keeps it stable at 28 most of the time. The case is like a dream. You can literally put anything inside. Hope to do a custom loop soon with this space.

Interesting choice with the all blue led's. Note: "Got the germ" is what the top line says, did you mean "Got this gem"? Love the build, hope it works well for you!

I think OP meant germ. Like when people say they have the building bug and want to build another PC. think he just swapped bug/germ.

Maybe consider getting a Hue+ so you can change the color of the LEDs on the fans

Just wondering what temps are you getting on that 1080? generally mounting the GPU vertically chokes the fans and you get terrible airflow resulting in bad temps. Not gonna lie though it looks really good mounted that way./

It’s also going to be a big factor on his inconsistent cpu temps, personally I would never vertical mount a graphics card unless it’s under water.

Yea that’s why I’m wondering why he did it.

You are right. I am waiting for evga closed gpu....but I couldn't wait to put the card vertical.

Hello. Is there enough space between the HDD Cages and the front to place an AIO Radiator there? I need all the HDD space but wanted the radiator in front not at the top. Thanks!

Only a slim rad with the fans outside the case. But o don't think it's going to fit easy. It also has three hdd positions in the back. Or 2 hdd and 2 ssd.
