Description

I have to say this Corsair 680X dual chamber case is amazing. I love it so far, cable management is a big problem for me, but with this case, I did not do cable management at all, the back chamber takes care of it.

Initially, I was just looking for a fan hub which can control the fan speed, I was planning put 6 fans in the 680x case, and my motherboard did not have enough fan header to fit all of them, I also do not want to use the ugly fan header splitter . After I did a research, I got Corsair Commander Pro. However, it is a waste if I just useing it to control the fans, so thats why I ending up buying those Corsair RGB components. Now I use Corsair icue to control them all in one software.

I dont gaming so often, but by looking at the beautiful build which can make me feel happier :)

First time i've seen a build in one. Looks great, though the GPU looks awkward in there.

I think if corsair can make the vertical GPU slot little toward the motherboard, then maybe looks nicer than now.

It's not that, it's that the card is very small and all black. A 3-fan card like the white Gigabyte model would look better.

when I save enough money, I may put this mini card to a itx case and I will get a card which fits this build more. thx for suggestion :)

Sure thing. It's still a great looking PC!

You could always take the heatsink off and paint it white. If you youtube tutorials and how-tos you should be fine.

Just make sure not to paint the fans or get any of the metal painted because that'll decrease performance.

I think it looks amazing, minus the fact the GPU is in an awkward position

Thanks. The GPU is a mini version maybe not fits the big case very well lol.

Beautiful... Simply breathtaking. Corsair 680x might be pricey but i can totally see why.

Thanks. First I got it from newegg Canada because when I placed the order, nowhere else carry the case. But about 3 days later, I found it on Amazon Canada like $80 cheaper, then I returned the one I bought from newegg and placed a new order from Amazon :)

Nice build +1. Except the only thing I would have done differently is used a Coolermaster GPU verticle mount instead. Coolermaster model tends to sit the GPU farther back towards the motherboard so that way it has enough clearance between the side panel and the GPU fan intake. Much better air flow IMHO. Check out my set up.

Good idea I'll definitely check that out :)

Nice build! +1 - First time I've seen a build inside that case. I just love that case. Is it worth the price? If I could, I would change my case to that one. However, i just built mine a few months ago and it's too late to return my case. I'll trade you, lol! The only thing I would suggest about your build is changing your cables. White, like mine, black, or gray? I think it would look much better with custom cables. Nice build regardless.

Thanks. :) I think this case is perfrct for me, the 3 LL RGB fans plus lighting node pro cost 140 + tax in Canada alone, so makes the case for $179 . I dont know if Corsair will sell the case alone without the fans, if they do and make the case cheaper I think will attract more customers.

I am planning to get one custom cable for motherboard and one custom cable the cpu :)

You mean the little fan which come with the motherboard? I misplaced it and cannot find it lol. I dont think it is necessary as long as I can see right now, the system works fine for now.
