Description

This is a build I helped on with the watercooling. I think it's pretty awesome. Tried a few configs with the loop and whilst it's not amazing, it gets the job done. Mayhems pastel fluid, mostly ek blocks, res and rads etc.

Thanks for checking it out, comments are welcomed!

Wow, I'm in the process of building a machine that is extremely similar... Different case and power supply (and I'm not doing custom cooling), but same CPU/MOBO/RAM/SSD/GPU..... That's either really spooky or this is just the best (and most popular) setup for rendering/editing with a healthy dose of gaming. The H440 was almost my choice too... but ended up going with the Enthoo Pro with AIO coolers on CPU and GPU. May the build bring you hours upon hours of joy!

Haha it's probably quite popular, unfortunately the build itself isn't mine, the watercooling is my contribution really

Mayhems Pastel is the bomb, I like the Auror more but it's mainly for show builds and doesn't work for home use

jesus, what are you planning on doing with 32 gigs of RAM? I also would've recommended the new skylake chipset. I believe the mobo supports it, soooo you would have just had to have spent an extra $10.00 cause you already have DDR-4. Otherwise, that build is awesome!!!

No, the mobo doesn't support it, the socket and chipset are wrong. The x99 chipset is for builds that need the extra cores. The 5820k has 12 logical cores, while the 6700k has "only" 8. As to the RAM, video editing I would assume.

32 gigs ram for editing and content creation. Haswell-E chipset is better than the Skylake chipset cause it supports better cpus with more cores and more capacity for ram.

No clue mate, the build isn't mine, the water cooling parts my part, but otherwise the build is off to the lucky guy that owns it, tbh it's not that expensive though, 32gbs for just under £200, it cost triple that for the watercooling gear
