Description

After using a Phenom II and a HD 6770 for 5 years now, it was time for a long due update. I wanted a high-end yet simple build (no leds, fancy fans :D, or liquid cooling). After saving for 5 months, the rig is complete.

You can't beat a clean build like this. Who cares about LEDs and RGBs... They don't contribute to FPS anyway. Beautiful build, sir (great photos as well!).

I can understand. Not everybody wants a RGB build all the time. Some people like it simple and clean.

Out of curiosity, what do your temps sit around for the CPU and GPU, I have nearly the same setup just with a 4790k at 4.2ghz. Just asking since i am ordering my 7700k and smaller case similar in size to yours.

Also wondering this. Would love to have a small, compact build, but worried about airflow.

Nice build! I love the Fractal Design cases because they have more of a clean and modern look. Also, good pick on the CPU (I have the same one).

Very nice, sensible build, focused on what really matters.

How are your temps on the SSD and VRMs?
