Description

This is my first custom build. I just got it about a month or two ago and so far I've been absolutely loving it! My first "Gaming PC" was not good... it had the "best" Intel core2quad you could buy, 8gb of ddr3 ram, and a asus geforce 210 silent edition, That Was Bad. It couldn't even run FS19! Now getting back to the new build, next I am going to get a Corsair keyboard, an aio for the cpu, a monitor that is at least 144hz, custom braided system cables, and I might get a vertical GPU mount for the 1080. In closing I just have to say if you are wanting to build a pc DO IT! It is so much better than just buying a prebuilt. I also wanted to say that I got the CPU, mobo, and ram at Micro Center so that's why you see the price cuts. Any feedback will be appreciated!

Nice build man. Check out the Corsair K68 for a keyboard. Love mine. Not the biggest fan of their iCue software that controls the RGB but they make a quality product.

Thanks for the tip! I'll look into it. Any thoughts on the k55?

Mush city, it’s an overpriced membrane keyboard in my opinion

Never physically seen one. From what I can tell, it's just a cheaper version of the K68. You can't go wrong with either one I'm sure.

Ok. I've been looking towards both.

it really depends what you like, you should watch a few reviews on a few keyboards and or also some videos or read something about switches if your going mechanical. some people like membrane more than mechanical and some like different type of switches. idk if u have a computer store close by you can maybe test them out there as well :)

Ya I have a Micro Center about an hour away from me so I might go back there and get a few things. Thanks for the advice!

Why not a 2070?

I got the 1080 from a friend of mine who was getting a 2070 for his CAD work, and plus I got a great deal on it! This 1080 is plenty for what I do at the moment.

They're going for pretty cheap now on ebay.

Ya true but I knew how "hard" my friend was on this card and I didn't know how bad the re-seller was on the card. Plus I'd want a new one.
