One day, I woke up and decided to get a new computer. I threw this build together in an hour, and then bought all the parts. A week later, I built it
I use it mostly for gaming and working. It is a huge improvement over my old laptop, which scores 5% in the 'gaming' category at userbenchmark.com. I no longer have to go on low settings and turn off shadows. I chose a wifi card because I don't have ethernet in my room.
A lot of the components were bought on sale, and the monitor was bought used. That is why some of these prices are not normal.
Total build time: 1,5 hours
It's great for gaming and overclocks well. I don't do much multi-core stuff, so I can't comment on that.
Quiet, effective, and low profile.
Can't say much, it was my first build. It was easy to find everything, and it works
It's RAM, and it runs at its advertised speed. Some people may have problems with the tall heatsink interfering with the CPU cooler.
Very fast and good temps, boot time is now negligible.
Works great and is quite fast, but is pretty noisy. It is to be expected of an industrial drive.
Needs 6 stars. It is quiet, runs cool, and mine ran 2.1GHz out of the box. The LEDs are nice as well. It is really a 3 slot card, so it may not fit in some builds. It is also heavy, I built a Lego support to hold it up. Otherwise, it beats every other 1080 on the market. I haven't overclocked yet, but I will. It will be a beast when overclocked.
Great cable management, looks good. You might look to add front fans if you are overclocking.
It's a power supply. As long as it works, it's good. 750W and 80+ gold certification for $50? Even better. Add semi modular cables, and this is the best for the price.
Works, surprised that a $2.00 key was legit.
Wireless Network Adapter
Nice and fast. It's as fast as my Ethernet.
Amazing, borderline perfect picture after calibration. Gsync is great and the 165hz refresh rate is super smooth. Very crisp picture as well, due to the QHD resolution. 1ms response time is nice.
Works well, like the adjustable weight and the sniper button, it has helped me out often.
