I'm loving the case in this build! Lots of space for this sexy mini ITX build. I had one spare LED strip not listed. It really completed the case, lighting it up in sync with strix.
Non intensive games are running just fine >60fps always on 1080p. -Dota 2, Skyrim, Overwatch, WoW (High settings)
Optane memory was easy to install on a fresh build. Thou there was a small hiccup where i'll explain below. My steps: 1. Install Windows on HDD 2. Install Optane Driver/Software (Intel Rapid Storage Technology or Intel RST for short) 3. Shutdown and Install Optane Module 4. Change BIOS to use Intel RST (Advanced mode --> Advanced --> SATA Mode Selection --> Intel RST Premium) 5. Change BIOS to not launch CSM (Advanced mode --> Boot --> CSM --> Launch CSM --> Disabled) 6. Boot into Windows and enable Optane from Intel RST 7. Restart
Hiccup - I formatted and partitioned my drive before installing Optane and got the error - 'The last partition on your system drive cannot be resized, which is required to enable Intel Optane memory'. Optane required a few free MBs to RAID itself properly with the hard disk. My suggestion is to format/partition your hard disk first with at least 1gb of un-allocated space to spare. You can extend your partition to fully use up the space after successfully enabling Optane.
Perfect RAM clearance in this build! Does not come with thermal compound.
The heat spreader for M.2 modules are sweet! Covers up the ugly Optane i've got on it. I've got some gripes with where the audio and case fan headers are but the gap right below on the fractal case saved my cable management. Do note that while there is only 1 case fan header, a 3 pin --> 3 pin & 2pin splitter is included in the box.
This is the most amazing case I've worked with so far. Jays2Cents has already done an amazing review of it and I completely agree with the little things he mentioned.
