Description

My friend got tired of gaming on a laptop so he asked me to help him put together a proper desktop PC with a budget in mind.

He requested a white theme, so I set out to put together a list on pcpartpicker. I'm not going to lie, I chose a lot of these parts purely on aesthetics, but think I found a good balance between performance, reliability, and looks. Yes I know it's a waste getting a locked cpu on a z270 board, but at the end of the day you're looking at this thing on your desk all the time, so might as well make it look pretty, right? :P

Build was fairly straightforward, nothing out of the ordinary. I initially proposed an itx version of this case, as I'm not a big fan of wasted/unused space. However this tempered glass Evolv is simply stunning! The build quality and materials used is way better than the itx version, I'm glad my friend made the executive decision to get this one instead. He's on the fence about buying white cable extensions, so let us know in the comments if you think he should buy those or not!

As always, thanks for taking the time to look at this build, hope you enjoy the pictures!

Great build. This should be featured as "more affordable" builds are rarely featured. +1

Because I wanted to try and make my own build and I tried but none of them had the right kind of specs that I could build off of. But thanks for asking

as far as i can, only 3 white extensions would be visible: gpu, cpu, and motherboard cables. seems like the perfect combo.

Thanks! That's actually a good idea with the ssd, never occurred to me! Think we're leaning towards getting it too! :)
