I decided to spruce up my computer and make it a little more "me". AS you ca tell by my name, I love DC comics and Green Lantern is in my top 3 heroes... plus my favorite color is green so I wanted to make him my theme.
CPU: This is a tried and true CPU I've had for a little over a year. It's oc'd to 4.5Ghz and stays in the high 20'-low 30's range when idle. Under full load it's in the upper 50's low 60's. I got better temps in my old case but whatever. It's still decent.
Mobo: Pretty decent motherboard for the price with good features. Overclocking is easy and has an easy to navigate UI in BIOS.
RAM: 20GB. I don't need this much, even when I'm painting in Photoshop but I love the effect the led's give. It's almost like it's Green Lantern energy flowing through my computer.
GPU: This GPU was crucial. This particular one had RGB lighting so I was able to match it to my theme. Plus it's a beast of a 970 and will probably SLI later on.
Cooler: Like the GPU, this has RGB lighting as well and keeps the cpu cool.
Case: I saw this case and knew I had to have it for the RGB lighting. Plus it's sexy. The only issue is the temps in it are a little higher than my old case.
