Well I just got engaged, and I figured if I'm gonna spend money on a ring for her, why not go equally in the other direction and build myself a new rig! :-D
So, I decided to build a highest end build for my realistic needs (gaming) that can hold me over for the next few years at least. Wanted to wait on the 1180, but with a 1440p 165hz monitor the 1080ti runs everything on ultra easily without an overclock and never going over 63c.
May do a custom loop in the future but probably not until the h150 goes out, which judging by my buddies 7 year old h60 thats still kickin in his system... I'll be fine.
I do not have the Corsair fans, they are Thermaltake Riing, but I also have the Corsair Lighting Node Pro in the system. Unfortunately I couldn't find the listing for JUST the LNP, so i put the fan 3 pack w/LNP on the listing but left off all the TTRiings.
Also i use a HyperX Alloy FPS Pro keyboard and a FinalMouse Ultralight but PCPP doesn't have listings for those yet. May snag that new Roccat Vulcan when it drops to replace the HyperX. Nothing wrong with it, but the Vulcan looks incredible.
The desk is a basic Ikea tabletop desk that I mounted together with some brackets, and threw a Philips Hue lightstrip on the back. Telling Alexa to turn my desk lights on and off will never get old xD
With this out of the way, I now just need to worry about a wedding and honeymoon in the next couple years and no more PC parts!
