Description
I built this machine for may daily use and some games. I play Dota2 a lot and sometimes play WOW and PUBG (yeah I'm old). After some research, I believed i5 8400 and 1060 6G can perfectly satisfy my need.
I can accept some RGB, but I don't like too much light. I choose the case since it is perfect for the price. I love the looking. My alternative choice was inwin 101. Which is also a very nice case. My friend got inwin 101 and he loved it.
I didn't buy a SATA, since I don't need many storage. I may add one in the future.
This is my first desktop. I have two gaming laptops: Alienware 13' (i5+gtx960) and Asus ROG 17' (i7+gtx765). Both of them are old and slow, so I need a new PC for gaming. I wanted to try to build a desktop this time. I am glad I did. The gaming experience is much much better than before.
Part Reviews
CPU Cooler
Quite, good quality and fair price. good enough for my i5 8400! Strongly recommend
Motherboard
I had to say it is expensive. This motherboard is the only part I am not so sure that I have picked the best for me. I could have saved some budget on the motherboard.
Memory
No much to say. Very beautiful. If you want something cheaper Corsair has a new beautiful and solid RGB memory. They are a little bit cheaper than this.
Storage
It maybe not so fast, but enough for me. The only reason I bought this storage is because of the price is really cheap as a SSD. the M2 contact is very easy to install and no cable problems. Very good for the price.
Video Card
The looking is great, light is great. Good for the price. The only reason I gave 4 star instead of 5 because they have no backplate. If you care about that, buy a MSI or Gigabyte. Or ROG if you don't care about the price.
Power Supply
Very good deal. I can still use it after upgrade in the future.
Case Fan
The only reason I gave 4 star is because it is a little bit expensive. But it is really quite. 10 bucks more? deserve it!
