Nice build! You are going to get a lot of chimers suggesting their superior perspectives (lol). Nonetheless, taking into account you also included the OS, Monitor and headsets....much props!

Nice build! I would have gone with the Ryzen 3 2200G, but that is personal preference.

Not really, remember he is buying a monitor, keyboard, mouse and headset with that budget. Sure you can build a 1070, ryzen 5 or even ryzen 7 with $1,000.00 but that's not counting OS, peripherals nor the monitor.

What I would of done with this build would of been... skip on OS and get an OEM key for $15. Then I would of got a ryzen 1700x or 1600x for the $130-170 range they were going for during holidays. Also, $109.00 mobo is too much for this build. You really wanted to stay under $70-80 max. There were also $100 16gb RAM kits available.

With some of these changes, maybe he would of got a shot for a 580 instead for a similar budget.

Cool build indeed.

I have never bought windows, I just happen to have legitimate case keys, so if I ever have a problem, I ask Microsoft for a new one ;)
